The Double, starring Wu Jin Yan and Wang Xing Yue, is definitely one of my favorite dramas. Even though the plot revolves around identity switching a theme I usually don’t like but I was completely drawn in by how well the story was executed.

The female lead is smart, strong, and not the kind of character who constantly whines or plays the victim. The male lead is also intelligent he figures out the truth about her identity on his own, even though she never tells him who she really is.

What I love most about this drama is that even though they initially have different goals, the male lead still chooses to stand by her and help her, no matter what. He fights alongside her all the way to the end until her revenge is fulfilled.

They face a lot of challenges, but their partnership remains strong. This isn’t a drama that relies heavily on romantic scenes, but you’ll absolutely feel the connection and emotions between the two leads. It’s a slow burn romance, but a very satisfying one.

I truly recommend The Double both leads are strong, smart, and perfectly matched. Their chemistry, loyalty, and character development make this drama a must watch.
