Chi Yeol's sissy behavior throughout Part 1 and 2 really got on my nerves. He is one unlikeable character that just won't die.

Zhao Qing’s character, Mo Cai Huan, embodies the heartbreaking fragility of mortality against Han Li’s eternal existence, like a fleeting mayfly drawn to an undying flame. Her love is laced with the cruel awareness that, to an immortal, her lifetime is but a passing sigh. Yet without her aching transience, the story would lose its gravity; she is the mortal mirror that gives weight to Han Li’s journey, tempering his immortality with human tenderness. The narrative would collapse into flatness without Mo Cai Huan. I never expected to champion Zhao Qing and yet here I am, utterly disarmed. The raw humanity she brings to this story deserves every praise, a quiet storm of emotions that elevates the entire 瞬间 narrative.

The portrayal of Han Li’s life journey in this show is nothing short of breathtaking and brilliantly executed. Yang Yang doesn’t just play the role, he becomes Han Li, with a performance so natural it feels destined. That ending song, 瞬间, is pure magic. I’m left teary-eyed every time it plays. However, I personally feel that the melody is incomplete without the soaring presence of a lead violin. Adding one would elevate its poignancy, immersing it in even deeper emotion. All in all, this show has its hooks in me, and I’m already aching for more. We need a Season 2!
