Plenty of people have plenty to say about this movie. And the lengths to which they go to say some basic nothingness describes who they are more than their take on the movie, good or bad. This isn't Scorsese or Kurosawa, it's a little teen drama remake.

TLDR, but most dramas require the watcher to engage in some suspension of belief. This review however expects the reader to suspend the fact of watching the movie. just paying g attention proves that the review was written without watching the movie carefully. As many others have pointed out, most of your questions/complaints were answered by the story or had nothing to do with the story.
