The Beauty of Love and Sacrifice in Descendants of the Sun
This drama was truly amazing, from start to finish. I’ll admit my reason for watching was Song Hye-kyo (and of course the writer), but it turned out to be such a memorable experience overall.Story: The story blends romance with a military backdrop, filled with both lighthearted and emotional moments. If you enjoy heartfelt love stories with a touch of destiny, this one is perfect.
Acting: Song Hye-kyo was absolutely wonderful here. I’ve always admired her, and in this drama, she brought her character to life with such grace and emotion. You could feel every worry, every smile, and every moment of love through her performance. She made the role feel real, and her presence was what kept me deeply connected to the story. Song Joong-ki also did a great job as the charming and warm male lead, and together their chemistry lit up the screen beautifully.
Music: The OST is unforgettable — it matches the drama’s tone so well, from the tender scenes to the emotional ones.
Overall, Descendants of the Sun is a must-watch for romance fans. For me, Song Hye-kyo’s performance was the true highlight, and it’s one of the main reasons this drama will always hold a special place in my heart.

Smile Code: A Gem Full of Emotions and Chemistry
I actually got to know about this drama through First Frost recommendations, and I’m so glad I did because I ended up loving it so much. The cinematography, the vibe, the whole story—it just feels so beautiful and emotional. Every episode had me drawn in, and not once did I feel bored. But the best part for me is definitely the chemistry between the leads. Shen Yue and Lin Yi look so real in love, every scene between them feels natural and heart-touching. Their interactions gave me butterflies and made the drama feel extra special.
Gu Yi (Shen Yue) is honestly pure happiness. She’s cute, beautiful, and her bright personality lights up the whole drama. I loved watching her chase her dreams, cry her heart out, and still bring so much warmth to everyone around her. Shen Yue’s emotional acting—especially her crying scenes—was so raw and heart-wrenching, it made me tear up with her.
Lin Yi was just as wonderful. The way he portrayed his character’s struggle with emotions felt real and believable. His quiet growth, subtle expressions, and natural chemistry with Shen Yue made their love story all the more touching. I really liked how the relationship wasn’t rushed; it unfolded slowly, with setbacks, breakthroughs, and so many moments that felt genuine.
Smile Code is emotional, healing, and full of heart. It made me laugh, cry, and feel so many emotions I wasn’t expecting. Truly one of those gems that I’ll always keep close💞

Lovely Runner: The Drama That Stole My Heart
I actually don’t even know how to put into words how much Lovely Runner means to me. From the very first episode, it pulled me in with its emotional story and beautiful direction. The cinematography, the vibe, and the way the plot unfolded just felt so unique and heart-touching.But the highlight for me is definitely Im Sol. She has officially stolen my heart and I’ve become her fan for life 😄. The actress is so incredibly talented—her expressions, her warmth, the way she carries every scene with such sincerity—it just made me fall in love with her character completely. Im Sol’s kindness, courage, and bright personality made the whole drama shine.
The chemistry between the leads was magical too. Every interaction felt natural and real, like they weren’t just acting but truly living those moments. Their relationship gave me butterflies and made my heart ache at the same time. By the last few episodes, I was crying, laughing, and cheering all at once.
Lovely Runner is the kind of drama that makes you feel everything—joy, heartbreak, hope, and love. It’s emotional, healing, and so full of heart. I know I’m going to rewatch this again and again because it’s truly one of the most beautiful series I’ve ever seen.

The First Frost — Zhang Ruonan & Bai Jingting
It’s been weeks since I finished The First Frost, but I didn't give a rating cause I don’t know anything about MDL. I got to know about this app through some fan of this drama. I am here to give this drama a rating and opinion, and also I’m now going to review all the dramas I like. Yet the emotions it stirred are still lingering with me. Few dramas manage to capture both heartache and tenderness so flawlessly, but this one truly did.Zhang Ruonan made Wen Yifan feel so real — her pain, her strength, and her quiet vulnerability were all portrayed beautifully. And Bai Jingting as Sang Yan was such a refreshing male lead — steady, warm, and full of quiet devotion instead of big dramatic gestures.
Their chemistry is soft but powerful, full of longing and warmth that makes you root for them from beginning to end.
The music and visuals add such a dreamy vibe that fits the story perfectly.
If you like slow-burn romance with heart and depth, this drama is absolutely worth watching. Wen Yifan and Sang Yan will stay with me for a long time. 💙

Hidden Love
To me, this drama is truly one of the best I’ve ever watched. From the very first episode to the last, I was completely obsessed. Zhao Lusi is my absolute favorite actress — she’s the reason I first became interested in C-dramas, and I’ve seen all of her works. Not every drama is perfect, but her acting always shines, and in this one, she was outstanding. As Sang Zhi, Zhao Lusi was simply flawless. She portrayed every emotion with honesty — her innocence, her growth, her quiet strength. I genuinely believe no one else could have captured Sang Zhi as beautifully as she did. Watching her improve with every role makes me admire her even more.
Chen Zheyuan as Duan Jiaxu was also very good, and together with Zhao Lusi, they made a wonderful on-screen pair. Their chemistry felt natural and heartfelt, which made the story even more touching.
In my eyes, Hidden Love is a masterpiece. I sincerely hope the ratings rise even higher because this drama deserves it, and Zhao Lusi’s performance deserves endless love and appreciation.

Predictable, Childish, and Completely Droppable
This is my first time dropping any drama on MDL and also my first time writing a bad review. Honestly, after this experience, I’m never going to trust MDL ratings again🙄I really tried to give this drama a chance, but I just can’t continue. The FL’s character feels way too childish it honestly looks more like the ML is babysitting than being in a relationship. Her acting is exaggerated, the voice is difficult to sit through, and the chemistry between the leads is almost nonexistent.
Sadly, the ML didn’t help either. His acting here feels flat and unconvincing, with very little personality or depth in his character. There’s no real growth or development, which makes the whole relationship dynamic even harder to watch☠️
The story started with some potential, but it quickly became predictable and repetitive. The pacing dragged, emotional moments felt forced, and the character development stayed shallow on both sides. Overall, it just feels like a wasted opportunity. I still don’t understand how this drama managed to get a 7.9 rating. Unfortunately, I’m dropping it—it’s far too cringey for me to enjoy.💢

When I Fly Towards You — A Tender Journey Through Youth
This drama is a gentle treasure, like stepping into a sunlit memory where youth comes alive. It beautifully captures the excitement of first love, the warmth of friendship, and the courage to chase dreams. From laughter in the classroom to sunrises and walks by the sea, every moment is sincere and full of heart. The cast makes you feel part of their world, and the music wraps the story in a soft glow.
More than anything, When I Fly Towards You is a reminder of how precious those fleeting years are a show I’ll cherish whenever I want to remember the beauty of growing up.
