a comfort show perhaps?
I find Cooking Crush to be a real comfort show. The story is simple and predictable at times, but that’s true for many series. What makes this one enjoyable is that the acting is solid, the main story is decent, and the side couple adds a nice touch. While a few scenes might feel a little slow, there are far more moments that are fun and heart warming, making it a pleasant watch overall. A big shoutout to Aungpao, his acting in the series was really impressive considering he is a junior.
