No one was expecting this ming competition to be dragged thisuch (personally my opinion) everyone thought this will end this week but it didn't that's why they are getting disappointed(and they are getting this feeling because the drama was and is great/entertaining watch)

No everything is great there is nothing wrong with romance being not the focus here now but the problem isn't even with the cooking and dishes still everyone is enjoying those but this competition being dragged for almost 4 eps (pace is the problem not this plot)
Tbh it's not that serious I think people are still enjoying these episodes it's just that they aren't enjoying it as they did in previous episodes..this drama is really good no one is denying that but since few episodes it has become a bit slow paced no doubt

I think that's why like they were fast paced before but now slowed it down.Plus leads screen time together is also getting sidelined together like very less. Like yesterday we got to see them spend time and people were still happy then last week in that garden when ming envoy first came there also.except these few moments leads aren't getting seen together which kind of made many lose interest as many were invested in that track and you can't blame them...

Although not a sports drama but you can try good boy (lead is a boxer but its related to police unit more) too
You know why people are finding all this boring previously plots used to end in 2 ep and next one starts but now 3-4 eps have finished but still this plot is there which is why we are feeling pace has become slower which is true tbh.
Plus previously relationship between king and jiyeong was evolving now it has become a sub plot which gets almost no attention except for king showing concern/affection for her secretly.We were invested in this track because chemistry was there but now they diverted all attention which I get why because they want to bring that plot in attention in last episodes

Also i feel like king's grandmother will play an important role now Because she said envoy doesn't know about her relationship with their king so I guess it will happen that way. Because I don't think that envoy will let her win and many conspiracies are going on plus we saw how cook maeng prepared gil geum and we found out why same way that letter she sent secretly will definitely be a major plot turn.
Still I feel like this ming competition is dragging a lot (now making it boring although I enjoy all those food but still it's becoming predictable now )and should end by next ep although I feel it will drag on till ep 10... previously pace was much faster now it got much slower to the point I wanted this competition to end this week but alas now one week more we have to wait.Tbh I feel like I have to decrease my ratings by 0.5 (from 9 to 8.5 if all this did not end by next ep because now it's like cooking competition which I'm not enjoying... really monotonous plus that translation my god )

Well why is suddenly there is no good cdrama on air last month we had 3 big ones airing at the same time and LOFG too (WDBTD,MR,SL)
It should be atleast 8+ it's a good watch and actors are doing their job well
