Strong Cast, Weak Script: A Series That Deserved Better
I’m completely in love with this cast, which is probably why writing this review feels harder than usual.
Their performances were solid; my issue was entirely with the script. With so many couples, the screentime wasn’t structured well. We lost the first episodes to misunderstandings and pointless fights that could have been resolved with basic communication, especially when there was supposed to be a much bigger external threat in Tony. And once the story finally started to take off, there were barely any episodes left to develop it properly. The ending felt so rushed that it left me with an empty, unfinished feeling.
I truly appreciate the cast’s effort in making this work as best as they could. However… Change really needs to improve.
