if it makes it better, in perfect match they didnt do anything romantic except for their fighting scenes they were just bickering and were named “married” but not romantic stuff

they feel shorter than kdramas like each episode is around 40 minutes and it flies by trust me

This drama had my jaw down especially episode 18. Its beyond words, im not talking on the story plot or romance. This drama knew how to make a statement. There were some astounding scenes that were new and absolutely staggering. Im beyond impressed. The fans and haters of this show are pissing me off because everyones talking about this drama like any other drama. I feel like everyones taking it too lightly only caring about romance, how well the political writing was done, and the dark romance stuff. But it is beyond those silly normal interactions. This is a cinematic masterpiece. I thought blossom color grading was flabbergasting but the director knows how to add another cherry to the cake. His works are spectacular and i cannot stress enough over this. what a wonderful period it is to experience such luminous media. Im so flabbergasted i needed to express it somehow.

yes i agre heavy!! especially for kpop. whatever trends they find they follow and keep up with it. the writing, message, and content for veiwers are going downhill and its all for fast business :( makes me so annoyed and mad because to escape such a fast paced economy and world people lean towards art and creativity which is what kdramas and kpop falls into. And its a shame the arts are disappearing…

honestly kdramas should lean more towards this type of writing and style… recently kdramas has been super bad with cheap writing and overused concepts. This one and typhoon family feels refreshing and fresh from what im seeing with many ongoing dramas. Especially the romantic comedy ones or office romances. Many ongoing kdramas are staying at a 7 rating which is deserved honestly idk why directors are overusing same formulas for dramas (usually the romance genres) but honestly this drama made me so happy

this is pissing me off why do we get such good cast pairings only the writing of the drama to be so bad. This is a recent epidemic in kdramas im seeing. Such iconic actors and actresses but show has no depth and concept. This one felt new and interesting but they ruined it. I wish they focused on the kid and the wholesome scenes instead of dragging on the writing for FL.

yes what is this weird epidemic of kdramas lacking… theyve really turned jnto western media almost and lack a lot of originality. I swear its all about trends and hype like for an example jisoos drama “boyfriend on demand” has A list celebritys but its such a poorly executed concept that’s overplayed in the media. Same comedy romance which is fine but in general makes kdramas lose in writing. Story telling is so annoying and overplayed…

definitely had a lot of holes and had its bad moments but the stories were nice and creative. i really enjoyed bai lu and xing yue pired up here and definitely was worth it to finish but not the best drama out there.

i think its overdone and theres still a lot fo dramas in modern times but its everywhere and i hate it if we saw a drama set in 2026 there would be so much AI and whatnot. The timeline of 90s and 80s is refreshing and interesting. But i get it, i recommend a lot of ongoing kdramas right now! theyre super up to date in the year and romance

RIGHT the story line here has a lot of loopholes the emperor character is very flawed in terms of the story and plot because 1. he is literally the cause of every womens suffering and death. 2. He is weirdly kind to peyi but wont believe her with the investigation despite him knowing that peyi solved many many cases. Like he’s genuinely so weird

I watched glory and enjoyed it but i think ml is too flirty for my liking (not a vad thing!! just looking for a “good boy” gentle type) Im really craving more ML like in Unveil jadewind! Thankyou for ur suggestion!!

OH THANK YOU FOR UR COMMENT!! however i tried moonlit reunion while it was airing and unfortunately i dropped it!! I absolutely loved the visuals and concept but the story transition felt choppy and my biggest issue was the ML acting. Im not sure if it is the acting or character but either way i didnt like the gentle and nonchalant execution!! ML was more on the quiet side it was hard to follow him through. For This drama, Xing yue facials for a simple character is broad and easy to follow, meaning I could figure out his personality and thoughts easily!! I can understand hes kind hearted and gentle! Im so sad i couldn’t enjoy moonlit reunion i tried to pick it back up but couldn’t:(
