Lackluster acting, lackluster story
I really went into this drama with high hopes. My bias in Blackpink, and I love a corny story (when done well). Her acting fell flat, and there was no chemistry between the main couple (outside of the vr). I feel the show lost the point it was trying to make. On top of that, the comics job plot was so boring, and by the end the stakes were not even worth it. I did enjoy when she went on multiple dates and we got to see different scenarios pan out, but even then Jisoo’s acting was eh. Overall disappointing and won’t be finishing.Was this review helpful to you?
Comfort Winter Watch!!
What a perfect cozy winter watch. I really enjoyed the snowboarding aspect of the show, I think it was done well. The comic side was a little hard to believe, but fun. The main couple was very wholesome and I really enjoyed them. Lin Yi was such a charming love interest, he had such a gentle tender personality. Esther Yu was so cute, and it felt natural. I will say, some of the episodes DRAGGEDDDDD. The best moments were in the snow. Shoutout to the enjoyable side characters as well. I am glad they did not force everyone to be in relationships. I hope to watch more stuff with Lin Yi in it. (I am already an Esther Yu fan)Was this review helpful to you?
