Love it so much, leads are both so hot, and chemistry is unreal. I don't think we needed the triangle narrative at all tbh. Love the gender neutral androgynous character, nice to see a drama so open to talk about gender roles with the inclusion of a LGBTQ+ character within a corporate office environment. Makes you think that Japan is changing about that.

yes she is a teen and a student and he is early 20s, autistic, def never had a girlfriend, but power dynamic matters. Is such a silly story tbh the age gap is one in a long list of issues, a young woman getting married after high school without having lived her life is old school and unrealistic. The triangle and family issues arch is also so badly handled, there is no real growth in the character except his brother.

Cute and fluffy. Some of the styling choices were so weird for a show aired in 2025. Makoto cross dressed as a woman looked so dated, like a 1950s kinds housewife. His boy look absolutely amazing and cool, oversize and super contemporary. The the wedding outofits terrible for both of them. he went for super cool 2025 boy oversize outfits to 1950 crossdressing to super tight wedding suits that looked like he was in 2013... just weird inconsistent styling... The story is cute.

i watched nearly 100 jdramas over the past 6 months and i find this a big generalization. There are a as many drama with wholesome female friendships as drama with the high school bully, relationships are usually resolved within the drama and everyone ends up being friends. Many Japanese dramas' stories are solely based on women relationships and friendships like Unreachable for example. But also i am tired about these extremely nasty comments towards Japanese culture when it comes to criticise jdorama.

I agree but then I only watch Jdramas and never watched any Kdramas, they look too fake to me. Also first part of my name is cause of him Ryusei Yokohama, one of my fave actors.
