I surprisingly enjoyed it. Didn't think I would. Xiao Fan isn't as weak-willed as he looked. Stop shorting out Fujoshi nerves by flexing pics of them at the altar in white suites. Don't lead us on like that. Ain't no bl marriages taking place at that time in China, France or anywhere otherwise. That is bl bs, way too much fan service.I like when the trades flat lined and all the numbers turned red at the same time on screen. That was really cool visuals. Xiao Fan never broke character, I'm impressed. They had good chemistry, I like that they were together ❤ on screen like 89% of the time.

OK for what it is worth.
6 episodes, about 10 minutes each. Not a blockbuster hit. More amusing and poignant than funny. A pleasant, quick viewing. Cute story. Acting was good, characters were fun to watch, thank heavens the main couple were together 99 percent of the time or I would have nothing to tell you. Nothing to overthink and did not involve hard musings, a general contemplation of life's idiosyncrasies. This is my second show featuring the actor for The Painter both times he wore the mantle of aristocracy well.Was this review helpful to you?
highly rewatchable
Highly rewatchable what more can I say. I delayed watching this movie cause I didn't want to get drawn into the hype though I could have done with more Business Proposal before anything else. Was hoping because this was so popular we would get more Business Proposal but to no avail. Would watch Kpop Demon Hunters 1000 times more and 1000 times over that but it still doesn't excuse Netflix for not giving us any more Business Proposal. Nothing Happens. Another bait and switch bl drama.
The mechanics of a bl drama are present until things fall apart and the ml eventually gets with the girl. Lots of teasing between the 2 main ml characters. But no real declaration of love and devotion. Best I cha say is it is not another tragic bl love story. About the first 10 episodes are watchable, when I saw it was turning into a regular male female romance I skipped to the last episode.To watch the skipped episodes another time. The acting was not trash, all actors were believable in their roles. It was not even a shounen-ai, just a buddy,buddy thing.
