[Enemies to lovers - Wuxia - Dark, schematic and suspensful!]
This is a wuxia and one of my first Wuxias actually. It's a dark and suspenseful, it keeps you on your toes for sure. Chemistry between Esther Yu and Zhang ling He were okay in this drama. It wasn't amazing nor was it bad. They played their roles and that was that. Story line was well paced, and had great turns that will make you point at the screen. I loved it for the most part, how schematic it was, however, it's an unfinished drama that tries to sell it as an open ending. If you like open ended dramas, this will just itch your skin in the worse way possible. Because after all that amazing writing, twists and turns, they end it in a very unfinished note that keeps you wondering where is the next episode? It does not feel like an ending at all. Open endings should keep you guessing what ifs, this isn't the case. It's absolute f*ckery....anyways...watch it daringly if you decide to. I picked it up just because I wanted to see how Esther Yu and Zhang Ling He's chemistry would be after watching Love Between Fairy and Devil. This work is not their best works, however, story line for the most part still ran great minus whatever ending they give you.
