The point of the father in law being the villain is to show the difference between politics and the martial world. There were instance that they bring that up.

That's the thing, she kept crying about who she can trust yet clearly trust everyone except for Xiao Huan

He even has the gall yo pretend to be pitiful and act as if he loves her 🤮

There's probably 20 more episodes of misunderstanding, I could smell 40 episodes in total in which everything becomes clear to her at the last 5 episodes 🤣🤣

The thing is, her character is set as someone that is deadset on finding things out for herself, which is ironic since she listens to everyone except for Xiao Huan

What's worst is that when he said that it was an anti-pregnancy medication, it might have been the cure. Had to lie to her so she wouldn't ask anymore questions

That probably wasn't an anti-pregnancy drug. That might have been the medicine that was supposed to cure his disease but gave to her instead.

I feel like people are going to get mad at that one intimate scene they had because it had when she was poisoned/drug, but do remember, he didn't know, he actually thought that she was initiating it and no, there was no visible signs that she was drugged when it happened.

Honest, kissing scenes are not suitable for the story this early, with how the story is progressing, It would be better for it to happen later on.

Gave her the cure so now he's gonna wait for another ten years for it to bloom, he either dies by her hand, by her fathers hand, her rat of an adopted brother's hand, the queen dowagers hand or his sickness kills him early.

It will, since he has to enforce it to protect her and sad to say he has to, Ling Cangcang won't be able to handle it if she discovers the truth about her master, her father and her rat of an adopted brother.

He's the worst, he's literally just waiting for her to collapse so he could swoop in and be the guy who picks her up.

You know what the frustrating part is? They love each it other so much!!

Ah my baby! Du ting xin! Why aren't you the FML, it should have been you!!!! As much as I like Ling CangCang, Imperial Preceptor is my main ship for Xiao Huan. I have this feeling that even if she ends up being burned alive like her mother, if given a chance she would risk it for him, no seconds thoughts.

Before anyone Hates on Xiao Huan for lying to her, just think for a second, would she really believe him if he had told that not only that her father manipulated her master into being the bad guy but was also using her to get and heir for the emperor so he can kill him and be Regent once again. And I really hate her adopted brother, his bs about paying the good that the elder ling has done for him, if he had really loved Ling CangCang, he would have told her or at least made sure she had a clue in how evil their father is, but no, he is selfish, He's actually not pitiful despite how they portray him.

Thus I crown Xiao Huan, The Emperor of Misunderstanding. He is probably the only character that actually enforces the misunderstandings in order to protect himself and Ling CangCang. 10 episodes in and I get this feeling that Ling CangCang would succesfully kill him before she realized that she is being manipulated by her father and her adopted brother is seriously dubious.

In this cold world, Had I not seen the sun, I would have not known warmth. To get rid of the dark clouds, I shall do, to feel the warmth of the sun once again, even if that very same warmth causes me to burst into flames. - probably best way to spoil the story without spoiling the story.
