I already know she's going to die by the end of this. My baby plans on following her mother's footsteps, dying for love, hopefully she doesn't get burned alive like her mother did.

The misunderstanding is fine, it's her lack of critical thinking that isn't. Which is funny, because she has an overabundance of critical thinking in the beginning.

Still too slow, this could have been a 20 episode drama

They actually have some great FL, Weirdly enough some times it's the ones where she doesn't start out strong but gradually develops.

I am dropping this hot pile of garbage. The FL is not developing and is getting worse. I honestly don't care about Psycho Ying's Trauma and Romance. Xiao Huan is not in love, that guy is broken mentally and emotionally. Honestly, Du Ting Xin, Xiao Qian Qing and the old doctor are the only normal characters here.

I guess they wanted to show how capable she is as a fighter. But it seems the writers and directors forgot that they have been pointing out that Ling CangCang has to navigate politics now.

Oh my goodness, there is nothing likeable about Ling CangCang anymore. She's not developing, she slowly becoming dumber and dumber. How are you a Woman and. A Martial Artist yet the moment you saw a pitiful looking woman, you immediately thoughts "not the enemy". You fucking stormed the enemy camp and found a singular woman in bed, unharmed yet you didn't even think twice that it might have been a trap??

Edit: aight, She somewhat redeem herself abit when she discovered that the woman is actually an enemy.

Welp, there it is. EP 13 and she's gotten more stupid. You are in a war, you let go of the person because she's pitiful and a woman? Turns out that pitiful woman is the enemy.

Xiao Huan didn't want to send reinforcements fo her brother and instead nwated to prioritize the plague, her dumbass decided to runaway, go to her brother as a support. Mind you this wouldn't even been a bad decision since she is actually a capable fighter buuut, instead to manipulating her husband into sending her and a bunch of soldiers, she run away on her own. Even her own brother called her on her own recklessness.

It's decent if you managed to tune out her voice.

At this point of the story, I think it would be better if her rat of an adopted brother actually just takes her. How stupid can you be to not see that there's something going on when you repeatedly used Xiao Huan and he just let's it slide. Ling CangCang is on par with Su yan from "Have a soft spot for her" in terms of unlikability and that one got her Man killed alongside her. Hopefully this doesn't end like that.
