Forget you have working brain cells

I was only able to finish this drama because of all the hot people. Halfway through it I gave up understanding the plot. I realised there is no STORY LINE. Its just hot people declaring their love for one another, despite the looming crisis.
I started this drama becoz of TJR, I fell in love with his acting in MJTY. But I couldn’t get past episode 6. Eventually I picked it up again and I ended up liking JZ and CDL more. I felt their chemistry more natural and sizzling.
Infact watching ji ling and wuyi gave me a constant headache with their crying and dying. I agree visually their scenes were good, stunning even but emotionally it lacked depth. It felt like they were going through the motions to achieve what is conventionally accepted as epic love.

And the biggest joke of all is the Dragon Deity Master. Wu shuguan was much more interesting and powerful as a bead wielding demon hunter than as a 10 th dragon. Never have I seen Dragons being so useless and powerless in a drama that even a weasel could outshine it. And even ji ling became more powerful the moment he shed his chi wen role.

I couldn’t care less about who or what li jie or yuan wuhuo is. As long as it was yanyan delivers the dialogue and flexes his arms I am happy enough to watch it.

Also for some reason all the female characters except one are either manipulated, used or shown evil.

I will end my long rant with this.. I like the costumes , OST and the characters to some extent. But I refuse to believe this is a good drama with a solid plot.
