sadly its not popular in SK 😅 SK usually only watch and hype drama who have popular actor & actress. and this is not a tv drama so no ratings. only airing on online streaming platform

One detail that I think is important is the reason why Kijeong's friends byeontae and daeo are so loyal to Kijeong and always help and are there when Kijeong needs them. In the webtoon, it's explained that Kijeong was the one who was always kind to his friends first. His friends used to be bullied, and it was Kijeong who saved them. There is also a reason why Kijeong always stays at Byeontae's house. It's because Byeontae's mother disappeared a long time ago and Byeontae is constantly looking for her. Byeontae lives with his older brother, but the brother is currently away for military service, so Kijeong deliberately always sleeps over at Byeontae's house because he is worried Byeontae might do something impulsive if he is alone. It is possible that Byeontae has some mental health issues because of his mother's disappearance.

Any webtoon readers know if they’re following closely? Or any changes they might’ve made?
Yes! So far, the core story in the webtoon is very similar to the drama version. Even the colors of the characters' clothes are similar, the dog breed in the webtoon are also very similar to the dog in drama. There are several additional scenes in the drama that are not in the webtoon but they do not change the core story, in fact, I really like the additional scenes in the drama that are not in the webtoon. There are some details that are not explained in the drama because of duration issues, but hopefully the remaining episodes will explain those details little by little.
