This is so true considering how some directors are messing up some well written stories its so heartbreaking! Like stories with so much potential being turned into a hard watch. I am hoping for the best from this one. :)

Ohh yes l forgot to spoil that part!🫠 So besides catching the Association smuggling business, Jin Zhao’s name was finally cleared after He Zhang confesses to the police so the bad guys all got what they deserved.

You are right, he really did want to give himself a chance to live, when he got the thing from Sui he told him that thing will give him at least 20 seconds. It’s really not fair for him to keep living living like an island especially during such tough times. By the end of episode 20 he was still in close contact with Sanlai so l hope they won’t break up. He was taking care of him.

Okay l get you. So from previous episodes Zhao mentioned that Wan thought the race was just for settling the feud between them but to Zhao it was one of the reasons, the other and main reason being to catch the illegal business. Wan isn’t the one being investigated by the cops, it’s the Association. So they were using this race to catch the smuggling gang but Wan didn’t know. So by tampering with the car the father was only aiming to win the competition. Mumu was supposed to give him a signal not to follow the route but this was not about winning the competition but preventing him from being targeted by the people behind the illegal business. None of the people were double agents, they only found out on competition day that the Association felt there was a mole so they decided to change the route to fish him out. From my understanding, Wan Qing may have got teary eyed from realisation of how Mumu’s love for Zhao deeply runs, something like ohh girl l can’t win against you so you truly love him to the point of willingly doing everything for him.

So this is where a little plot twist is, if l can call it one😂 Before the race, Lin Sui visited Zhao and gave him a racing gear for safety measures which is fire and heat resistant. Sometime after Zhao went missing his phone later went into use, even Sanlai said if Zhao was in the car and it exploded his phone should have been destroyed so together with Mumu they concluded he wasn’t in the car by the time it reached the ground and exploded.

Aww l hope you will be okay💕 Okay so Mumu got news that the race was actually a trap to find the mole who has been digging info about the alliance. So the map Zhao received which he was bound to follow in the race was leading him into the trap that is being bursted as the mole or possibly d🥺eth. Mumu wasn’t allowed to meet Zhao before the race so the only way to save him was to beg Wan Qing to grant her access to meet Zhao. wan Wing took it as a perfect opportunity to get back at Mumu hence the order to kneel if she wanted to save Zhao.🫠
Okay so Jin Zhao ends up racing and gets involved in an accident which injures his leg badly. He goes missing…
Sadly, l didn’t read the novel but someone commented a few days ago that Mumu will visit a cafe which gave the same vibes as the one she had told Zhao she would want to open so she revisited and left the pen he gave her to test if Zhao owns the cafe. She later calls the cafe inquiring about the pen and she’s told that the boss took it so ends up going to the cafe to meet him.
I just watched the preview for ep 21 & 22 and it seems things might go that way.
