Very heart-fluttering. Such innocent love from both of these two shy individuals who never had experience when it comes to romance/love. They are so cute and watching this was heart-warming, seeing each of them open and become somehow comfortable with each other. I wish there'd be a season 2 where they become very comfortable and less formal with each other already.

i am convinced that this will be an amazing drama.
Yes, give it a try please. This isn't a hardcore romance but it's enough and mainly focuses on life.

This has got to be the perfect slice of life Chinese drama for me! As an old soul who always long for anything nostalgic and a sucker for romance who just wants to enjoy a good watch, this show got it all and I am beyond amaze how everything has been put together, from the slightest detail of each characters imperfection (no fancy clothes and makeup) to how the flow of the story went and everything in between. I like how it looked so raw and unfiltered that everything just looked natural but still beautiful. It's almost like you also travelled back in time. Although the cutting of the scenes were not that smooth, but the director was still able to capture the emotions of each character.

This show also made me realize how although life was so hard before, it was so easy to get married. And it's not so bad to get married afterall if you have someone like Fang Mu Yang or Qu Hua to depend on. You can conquer everything as long as you have each other.

I really like the fact that this is not your normal fake marriage story. Since the beginning you can already see how ML already has feelings for FL. The way he looks at her, I wish there'd also be someone who looks at me that way. His eyes really are so full of emotions.

Everything about this drama just feels so good and I loved how the love of each couple grew and made them a better version of themselves.

I hope there'd be another season showing their college life, but for now, I'll just continue to reminisce the scenes that were shown to us and the scenes that were left out for our imagination.

My favorite part was the acting of all the cast, the director showed very well their emotions. It's like only a part of their life were shown to us, not everything was really detailed. But still everyone will somehow grow into you. Idk if this is how a slice of life show should be but I just feel like there's still something missing especially with the progression of Qiao Xi Chen and Jian Yi Fan's relationship. Or probably it's just really focused on the friendship of the four and just a little on the romance part. This was a good slice of life show but personally I think it's a bit overrated.

ok but can someone tell me if the boss of Joker really was Kaoru’s father???
I think so because when his mom visited him at work, the boss saw her and he looked like he recognized her. Also he mentioned about his past life which happened 23 years ago. So there could be a possibility. I hope there's going to be another season tho,

I need help understanding episode 4. Why after hugging Manami in Episode 3 and begging her to continue their lessons…
I think they were able to mention it in the latter part, but she told him how easily he shuts off people when he finds himself opening to them and I think this could be the reason why he did that the next day. He probably was so used to feeling like letting down other people so I think he wanted to show to her that he is really that kind of person. Sort of like a defense mechanism

This is the kind of drama where you couldn't be so sure about what will happen next. But I'm happy about how everything turned out. I like the character development of all the cast but I just wished the ending was a bit longer or I hope they showed more of the romance between the leads.

Although the encounter of ML and FL was something not usual, and they came from a totally different background, but how their opposite personalities complemented each other made it reasonable as to why they were both drawn to each other and how they overcame social stereotypes.

The ML, even if he is surrounded by so much attention, obviously craved for some genuine care and attention which he was able to receive from FL. The way he shuts off others was also very understandable given the kind of life he grew up into. Also, I really liked how even though he was a host, compared to FL's fiancee, he treats FL way better. He really has a good heart, which is why we shouldn't base a person's worth on the surface but really look deeper into them.

The acting of all the characters was good, and the director was able to capture the emotions and the acting nuances of the actors, especially the ML. I think this show really highlighted the ML more and it's good that he was able to justify the character.

This is my first time watching a Jdrama in this setting and it didn't disappoint. Although it was a slow-burn kind of love story but i liked how the pacing was overall. I loved how the director was able to capture the emotions of the leads and despite how they misunderstood each other's feelings, their expressions really showed otherwise.

ML is so cute and is such a green flag. He's very mature for his age, so the age difference didn't feel off. I also liked the fact that it was not taboo during that time to be in that kind of relationship (or maybe they didn't just focus on that). He is seen as a selfish person her but actually he was really very supportive of FL. ML and FL's dynamics to help the business thrive is really very sweet.

Hoping to have more romance in Season 2

This was a cute love story. They look cute together but somehow I feel the lack of romantic build up between the leads. Idk if it was because of their acting or maybe was not just properly captured by the camera. Still a good and quick watch for me.

It was a very pleasant watch. I like the romance part and all the stories in between. I want also to be loved the way the ML loved the FL. The whole show was very sweet and also had a good cry with this one.

1st episode and ML is already giving ick.why tf he wants to watch t*rture p*rn!?
I think they wanted to show the normal culture of Japanese without any filter. Also if you notice how FL's mother never bothered her only child in preparation of her death. This is, if I'm not mistaken, also a normal family culture in Japan.

I'm still in ep 1 also so I could only think of it that way.

What I liked the most about this drama is that despite all the deceptions and evil plots among the characters, the main leads still remain consistent with their love and trust for each other until the end. The plot twists were so unexpected but I'm just glad they never once hurt each other and really had each other's back. I'm gonna miss their love story. Although the last few episodes were a bit dragging but it highlighted ML's background and how much he was willing to give up for his love for the FL. It also showed how FL loved him so much by being by his side when he needed support from her. ML is such a green flag and I just cried at the end knowing they can finally be with each other. We stan a strong, independent FL who is always clear-headed from the beginning until the end.

Not your usual plot which made it very interesting to watch how the story unfolded. The plot twist was very unpredictable. Planning to rewatch it and try to catch if they've been dropping subtle hints all along.

I came for the noona romance but I got more! I didn't expect to be getting this simple yet rich storyline. Although it didn't just focus on the romance of ML and FL, but they were still able to show how their love story developed and how their lives were actually connected. And the comedy part? Clearly didn't disappoint. This was such a gem. I can't help but gush over Cha Eun Woo's charm and their chemistry with Sae Kyung. I loved how there's not just one story and how everything was put together. I really liked how there was not much drama/dark theme, so it was very heartwarming to watch. It was also a good thing that it didn't went to the age gap cliché plot and was never an issue since the beginning. But the personality of both ML and FL and the difference between their age can still clearly be seen. The acting of all the cast, even the supporting ones, are superb! By far the best noona romance (in Kdrama) for me. This show is clearly underrated, many are missing out such a gem!

I just finished watching it and idk what to feel. I actually didn't like the FL's character here. The entire time I was watching this, I was trying to understand her side. I also couldn't get why ML loved the FL so much for him to go through that kind of treatment from her and her family. The acting of all the cast is really good, the chemistry is off the roof, it's just that the story for me is not really that deep. I couldn't see the character build up/development of the leads, or probably there was but only on the last few minutes of the show. Are slice of life shows supposed to be like this?

I didn't like the thought that she was treating her like a real didi and how it was different for him already. But as the story progressed, I like how they made it clear that his feelings were not just "raging hormones" and how he proved himself to her. My favorite part was their breakup scene. It was painful yet very reasonable. It also showed the difference of how their respective age thinks. The ending was very sweet and satisfying. Their love story was one of the most heart fluttering one for me. Great acting from all the cast. Overall, I loved it!
