My first time watching a Jdrama in this setting and it didn't disappoint

Although it was a slow-burn kind of love story but i liked how the pacing was overall. I loved how the director was able to capture the emotions of the leads and despite how they misunderstood each other's feelings, their expressions really showed otherwise.

ML is so cute and is such a green flag. He's very mature for his age, so the age difference didn't feel off. I also liked the fact that it was not taboo during that time to be in that kind of relationship (or maybe they didn't just focus on that). He is seen as a selfish person her but actually he was really very supportive of FL. ML and FL's dynamics to help the business thrive is really very sweet.

Hoping to have more romance in Season 2

Good slice of life but less of romance

My favorite part was the acting of all the cast, the director showed very well their emotions. It's like only a part of their life were shown to us, not everything was really detailed. But still everyone will somehow grow into you. Idk if this is how a slice of life show should be but I just feel like there's still something missing especially with the progression of Qiao Xi Chen and Jian Yi Fan's relationship. Or probably it's just really focused on the friendship of the four and just a little on the romance part. This was a good slice of life show but personally I think it's a bit overrated.

A short drama that tackles a lot of stigma and how people accept it

This is the kind of drama where you couldn't be so sure about what will happen next. But I'm happy about how everything turned out. I like the character development of all the cast but I just wished the ending was a bit longer or I hope they showed more of the romance between the leads.

Although the encounter of ML and FL was something not usual, and they came from a totally different background, but how their opposite personalities complemented each other made it reasonable as to why they were both drawn to each other and how they overcame social stereotypes.

The ML, even if he is surrounded by so much attention, obviously craved for some genuine care and attention which he was able to receive from FL. The way he shuts off others was also very understandable given the kind of life he grew up into. Also, I really liked how even though he was a host, compared to FL's fiancee, he treats FL way better. He really has a good heart, which is why we shouldn't base a person's worth on the surface but really look deeper into them.

The acting of all the characters was good, and the director was able to capture the emotions and the acting nuances of the actors, especially the ML. I think this show really highlighted the ML more and it's good that he was able to justify the character.

Heart-fluttering. No heavy drama

It was a very pleasant watch. Although it has a very simple storyline, I liked the romance part and all the stories in between. I liked the character development of everyone. I want also to be loved the way the ML loved the FL. The whole show was very sweet and also had a good cry with this one.

I don't why ML's directness never bothered me, but the actor really portrayed well and was able to show how much of a ball of sunshine he was. I liked how FL was very stable and sensible. I liked the character development of everyone.

I had a good, boisterous laugh while watching this.

I recently finished watching Falling into You and couldn’t get over Wang An Yu and Jin Chen’s chemistry. After looking for videos of them online, I came across this variety show. This is actually the first variety show I’ve watched, and it definitely didn’t disappoint, both the show itself and, of course, An Yu and Jin Chen.

I had a great laugh watching all the episodes, some were even boisterous, because they were just too funny. The dynamics among all the members and their crazy banter definitely made the show very enjoyable to watch.

What I liked about this show:

1. The beautiful locations
The places they showed, especially in China, make you want to travel there yourself with your family or loved ones.

2. Wang An Yu and Jin Chen
Wang An Yu is truly charming in this show, so full of energy and very respectful. Jin Chen brings such fresh vibes with her simple yet very beautiful visuals. I’m probably biased (and maybe a little delusional 😅), but their chemistry three years later is still oozing. Their interactions feel very natural, and they always seem drawn to each other. I swear they even resemble each other now. They might just be very good friends idk but they really look so comfortable together.

The most unforgettable moment for me was the night they walked around Florence, Italy. JC said she was hungry, and AY suggested eating ice cream. Later, when JC wanted to ride the carousel, AY agreed and even paid for it. Please tell me this was scripted so I can wake up from my delusions 😭 because he really seemed so attentive to her.

3. Jia Bing and the others’ cooking
Bing Ge is really so cool when he cooks. He can prepare a full feast! I also liked that the other guys improved their cooking skills this season (I haven’t watched Seasons 1 and 2 yet). It somehow made them all look even more handsome. I hope that next season, Wang An Yu can finally cook a dish or two as well. 😆

4. William Chan’s guest appearance
I honestly didn’t know much about William Chan before watching this show, but I quickly realized how well-rounded he is. He’s very talented and athletic, the way he outdanced everyone was impressive. Later on, I learned that he’s a gym rat, which explains why no one could keep up with him.

I also noticed that some clips weren’t smoothly cut. There were moments when the placement of the members or even their clothes didn’t match the next clip, which made the editing feel a bit off. Since I was only watching the free version on YouTube, I probably missed out on a lot of scenes as well.

Overall I’m really glad I watched this show and got to know these celebrities outside the frame of acting. I hope that next season, all of them will still be there and continue to bring joy to everyone.

It's not so bad to get married afterall if it's Fang MuYang

This has got to be the perfect slice of life Chinese drama for me! As an old soul who always long for anything nostalgic and a sucker for romance who just wants to enjoy a good watch, this show got it all and I am beyond amaze how everything has been put together, from the slightest detail of each characters imperfection (no fancy clothes and makeup) to how the flow of the story went and everything in between. I like how it looked so raw and unfiltered that everything just looked natural but still beautiful. It's almost like you also travelled back in time. Although the cutting of the scenes were not that smooth, but the director was still able to capture the emotions of each character.

This show also made me realize how although life was so hard before, it was so easy to get married. And it's not so bad to get married afterall if you have someone like Fang Mu Yang or Qu Hua to depend on. You can conquer everything as long as you have each other.

I really like the fact that this is not your normal fake marriage story. Since the beginning you can already see how ML already has feelings for FL. The way he looks at her, I wish there'd also be someone who looks at me that way. His eyes really are so full of emotions.

Everything about this drama just feels so good and I loved how the love of each couple grew and made them a better version of themselves.

I hope there'd be another season showing their college life, but for now, I'll just continue to reminisce the scenes that were shown to us and the scenes that were left out for our imagination.

A love that proves you can conquer everything as long as you have each other

What I liked the most about this drama is that despite all the deceptions and evil plots among the characters, the main leads still remain consistent with their love and trust for each other until the end. The plot twists were so unexpected but I'm just glad they never once hurt each other and had each other's back. I'm gonna miss their love story. Although the last few episodes were a bit dragging but it highlighted ML's background and how much he was willing to give up for his love for the FL. It also showed how FL loved him so much by being by his side when he needed support from her. ML is such a green flag and I just cried at the end knowing they can finally be with each other. We stan a strong, independent FL who is always clear-headed from the beginning until the end.

I came for the noona romance but I got more!

I came for the noona romance but I got more! I didn't expect to be getting this simple yet rich storyline. Although it didn't just focus on the romance of ML and FL, but they were still able to show how their love story developed and how their lives were actually connected. And the comedy part? Clearly didn't disappoint. This was such a gem. I can't help but gush over Cha Eun Woo's charm and their chemistry with Se Kyung. I loved how there's not just one story and how everything was put together. I really liked how there was not much drama/dark theme, so it was very heartwarming to watch. It was also a good thing that it didn't went to the age gap cliché plot and was never an issue since the beginning. But the personality of both ML and FL and the difference between their age can still clearly be seen. The acting of all the cast, even the supporting ones, are superb! By far the best noona romance (in Kdrama) for me. This show is clearly underrated, many are missing out such a gem!
