I don't know. I saw someone mention that there seem to be less cuts in the Netflix version of the show? I'm not sure how it's possible. Maybe someone who has both iQIYI/weTV and Netflix cam check? I know they don't have 38 until Saturday.

When I saw it on Facebook the other day, I actually thought that chinese censorship isn't what it used to be. I don't understand why the scene was missing in the official airing. Was the leaked version pre-censorship?

I checked both iQIYI and WeTV and both have cut the bed scene from episode 38.

Apart from my frustration regarding the cut scene, loved the drama, loved the endings. I'm glad they showed that YQQ and QM were not meant to be, her being a mondern woman who craved freedom and him being the crown prince who would have a harem of women.

Let's punish the nice people who don't watch on illegal websites and reward the bad ones who do? I'm upset I saw the scene on Facebook so my expectations where high. I kept hoping until the end that I would see it 😭

I like the stepbrother in The Legend Of The Female General. He is confident and so wrong at the same time, I cannot take him seriously.

He was forever attached to one woman or another, and making sure her family helps him up the ladder. Once he had climbed high enough, he would set his sight on his next mark.

When FCY's family took pity on him and his mother, they were so poor they couldn't afford to bury his dad. Instead of being eternally grateful for having someone help him succeed in life, he took the first chance to dump his newly orphaned fiancée and fully switch his courtship towards the magistrate's daughter. He was definitely playing both sides, no one can convince me otherwise.
