So, not just decree going missing, ye li has a role in brothers falling apart and ML moving to different army ..general hua's.. what would have happened if he didnt come across FL to rescue..he wouldnt have falen aprt with his brother for rescuing FL and her entourage ..would have still been with his brothers army..and may have saved 3 cities? ..and may have saved atleast brothers life..?..

He is angry she did all that behind his back..though she was doing it for his benefit.what will he do when he realises her mother , ye family involved in decree missing..though her mothers intension is pure , unintentionally she played a role in it going missing..

I wondered about that too..she was running and few chasing her on tue mountain..so was it plague?

Jing li's manservant should not have given false hope for his master..seeing how much obsessed he is about FL . He has reason to live ..to take revenge for his family.. so shpupdnt have brought FL to comfort him

Because she doesnt want to say master zhu left mountain ...linshan academy folks are forbiddened from leaving moutain..leaving could be disastrous for them..extremely dangerous..though staykng on moutain was their own self imposed decision.mlater it almost became like theyr were trapped/caged in on the moutain
.and leaving is almost not permitted

I totally get prince jing li POV..his obsession , him feeling devastated.. she finds fault with him for being responsible for 18 people death, who accompanying him.. i understand why he did what he did... he was 13 odd years then.. his grand father is dead..his father, crown prince is dead..his easter palace members all killed.mhe is only survivor.. she had been his only ray of hope for a long time..and now for him to continue to want to survive.. he couldnt have fought back..but want to survive for her(?) Or may be to stay alive for fighting back for revenge.. .. and she is a big part his future for him.... is it right ? Living by exposing to death18 people who loved, supported and protected him... its absolutely not..i understand her anger... but his 13+ year mind took tye easier path to survive.. unpardonable from her point of view... he did the only thing that he could at that point to survive- though absolutely
unpardonable.. he survived ..now fighting back in his own way..

Bybthe way..the marquis has now 3 set of factions ruthlessly pursing him.. FL/ linshen academy, ML and his familys followers, Jing li and his easter palace supporters... i wonder if they have an eye on the empressess dowager.. without her as the face , would marquis have done all this.. good that young emperor is seeking his own path.. also that consort dowager.. she is suspicious.. she seems against young emperor gaining more power and a reign independent of empress dowager... she is a person to watch too.. last episode and this episode she mades important moves

If mo jing li was her childhood sweetheart, they have a lot of history together then.. i understand him better now... she is hos childhood sweetheart and bethrothed...not sure how that bethrothal fell apart. But he seemed to be very devasted.. he should have made his move before their weddings.. may be he had a chance then

Remember she cut a tree in someones house.. that was brother he..who actually died..but she tells her senior brother she sees him too

Yes..she has snake bite at exact at same spot as master zhu..so it was her and not master zhu who killed the snakes..and she was super effective at it..

Did FL plan the temple visit to spend some intimate moments with her husband.. he is always hiding away in their mansion..so she brought him to a place they have no option but to share a room..??..even there he wanted to get himself a separate room... good that the temple had limited room..and both had an opportunity to get to share some close moments

My observation too... He has young emperor aura too..

Am liking ML's voice more and more in this series.. is it his own voice..its calm , subtle.. he sounds better in this series

Is he jealous when she pays attention to others.. it happened during the banquet when her senior brother revealed she cured his leg ailment.. also , in that temple.. when she was feeling bad for that scholar who left the academy within 6 months.but still got penalised for association..she had tears for that..and he was puzzled and upset..and commented so lengthy during their return trip

Dont think he is her chess piece.. both of then have same goals..same enemies.. she knows..he doesnt..yet

He could had done something before ..could have kidnapped or run away before she left moutain..not sure if she had appreciated that though

So it seems her mother died before she even left for linshan academy..and may be her maid was still alive then..and may have died on the moutain..so many mysteries to unravel in this series..

What a chaotic 9th episode.. so there were bandits , there was her senior brother (who worked as security at ye mansion), there is that han fellow her sister engaged to kidnap and then kill then and then there is Prince Li... How come her senior brother is at that place..almost a jungle.. good that he attempted to save her..i dont doubt him, am wondering is he always in the shadows protecting her all the time??.... but the other 3 ... are the bandits there to loot or were they engaged to harm yeli or ML... or both.. han fellows target was Ye li..but what was prince Li doing there in the forest..did he happen to be there by chance? Or was it a planned attempt by prince li to kidnap her... were the bandits hired by prince li ..or someone else...to divert attention to kidnap her...
