There are so mnah stories around people (educated youth!) sent to faraway places in chinese dramas... and it seems that one policy spun so many tragic stories , and some horiffic ones too... the root of the evil of this drama is tied to ML's father abusing them because he cpuldnt go back to his urban life because of them.... and that uncorks the evil
Finished the series... in the beginning i wasnt really sure what the series was trying to talk about.. but it got better and ended up being one of the most interesting and educating series... wonderful drama ...
To see them onscreen is unsettling...and to hear they are inspired by real life cases feel horrific 😢

Ep 18... cant watch FL manipulated so badly... i want her to use some of her brilliant brain that made her that good professor.. lady..wake up..use his tactixs on him...he deserves 10x reprisal
I think for a brief second, he was moved because he saw himself in YL. That scene when YL begged him not to leave…
After watching Ep 16. I feel bad for him, what happened in his case.. but that is not good enough justice to ruin and kill other girls... and now FL's mother.. and posting video of FL (his own wife )... he is a nutcase..i feel sorry that bad things happened to him and his sister.. but taking it out on soceity in psycho ways.. and at the same time being a very effective and mature doctor.. hmmm
Okay..i call it... ML is working with the guy who groomed her.. and he came into her life i feel on the direction of that grooming guy... and both ML and FL are groomed by that guy.. one is groomed as a prey and one as a hunter

What is that question in ep 2 about he smelled better than her Ex... and scene was cut to ex.. her reaction was not shown.. for a guy who said he doesnt mind her past, that question is wierd ..am more curious to known how she recived that question...
Interesting drama! But 1st ep execution is bit wierd ! ... so did her brother died in 2012 and current timeline is 2017?... did she break up in 2012...but caught her ex BF in a raid in 2015?... did ML knew her in the adult phase too ( in childhood , he seem to be a neighbor!) ... there is a scene where he is crying he has to save her.. which year was that?.. so much confusion in sequence of events ..and when he knew her ....
