AI written plot? Such bad acting, looks like a cheap production and honestly feels like the type of show that couple from Knot would do (not a compliment).

There are definitely other better series currently airing compared to this one, maybe they'll be more to your…
Can you suggest some please? I'm currently watching : police in love ( premise seemed funnier than the execution itself because it's just not good), Mr fanboy ( enjoying it but nothing extraordinary and lead characters are a bit annoying) , Oh and I started fool in love ( 2 first episodes were nice).

Hahhahahah your comment is so funny. DYTD was such a catastrophe I even left a review about it just out of frustration (you can check it out). I believe that most of these actors don't care about a good script and aren't trying to be taken seriously as actors. They're trying to make as much money as they can while they can by relying on braindead fan service and counting on blind shippers to hype up their mediocre shows and performances. I already a commented here on the latest episode because I found it to be so freaking boring I had to vent lol. 8.6 is not realistic whatsoever for a weak plot with characters that have nothing substantial to offer.

i mean that is kinda the point of a "red flag" or "toxic" series... 🤷🏻‍♀️
There's nothing "toxic" about this series lol. It's just an immature plot with nothing to work with. Dean sleeps around and that's his only personality trait while Moth is a bland character that has no depth. Please tell me what's toxic about that exactly? The plot is boring and weak and every episode is the same with the same facial expressions from the leads. 8.6 is given by shippers most likely. ( FyI I enjoyed the first episodes it went downhill at a certain point , maybe due to the lame setup)

Do you know which scenes were cut? They had good enough kissing scenes imho, I don't get what the viewers were supposed to see beyond what they were served? but I agree that if they had to film spicier scenes just for them to get deleted then yeah it's unfair but that's what happenes in so many shows.

i agree with OP , I think that the plot is quite weak and especially in the last 3 episodes or so. The characters are so bland and one dimentional and the love story is not compelling. I don't think cutting NC scenes is the issue here because those scenes are not suppose to save a mid plot.

About the second couple, I admit they're moving really fast but Pun and Ten were not on the same wavelength. It…
Yeah I undersood the part about Pun knowing Ten's identity so why was he so cold to Ten outside of the online chat? Ignoring his messages, his attempts to see him after work etc, I guess that's what I was confused about. I do agree that Pun seems to be the only character in the show that cares about others so maybe you're right and he's not using Ten. I loved when he told Moth to stop talking to him about his senior and his issues, cuz enough is enough

Title You Maniac Spoiler
The last two episodes were insanely boring imho. The first 3 episodes or so were enjoyable then it lost its momentum for me. I simply don't think the plot is strong enough.
Moth is a very one-dimensional character and quite bland. We get that he was hurt by his past crush( not a very original back story) but that doesn't justify having zero personality. Even around his only friend, he doesn't laugh, make jokes, or talk about anything outside his own interests. Quite frankly, he’s a terrible friend. Dr. Pun is the only person who truly supported him, yet Moth just uses him as a sounding board to vent when convenient. He shows no real regard for Pun's feelings, intentionally doing with Dean all the things Pun had wished to do with him just to hurt him (well to get him to stop liking him using a very mean method) , expecting Pun to just "understand". At the end of the day, Moth behaved towards Pun even worse than his senior did to him, because he intentionally wanted to hurt his only friend instead of just clearly saying that he doesn't feel the same.
Dean's personality was sleeping around and now that he no longer wishes to do that he kinda has nothing more to offer as a character, instead the writers are having him spiral out of jealousy.
The second couple is cute but I don't understand why they're already boyfriends? Is Dr. Pun rushing into this to break the cycle as he says? Because I don't understand when he said that he fell for Ten? Anyway maybe the next episodes will get better let's see.

Review Nour Spoiler
I left a review basically saying the same things you said! The rushed romance was so terrible that I even said that I never understood why they were in love or when it happened?? like nothing impactful happened for them be "madly" in love. The show concentrated on cheap romance instead of the actual Nour part. James the human, was almost going to kill Chita the big scary Nour ?? like how ??Anyway this was a mess and the ending was so bad. I rated it way less than you, you were generous.

Ah yeah! they could have given him a little funeral scene with his family mourning him since he was portrayed as a good son and brother... He even chose to die instead of hurting others and turning into a monster I suppose. But anyway the writers completely lost it overall.

The mother and the brother give absolutely 0 fucks about Dr. Ji so I guess thank god he didn't choose to live for them. Did you not see them having a happy family meal with the new boyfie like idk one week after his death?? This was too messy for me sheesh

Title Nour Spoiler
Chita and Dr. Ji completely carried this finale! Ji and Chita had top-tier chemistry, and that post-death scene was the only time in the entire show I actually felt emotionally invested and quite touched. Once they died early in the episode, I knew it was gonna be a massive downhill slide back to a bland main couple who simply can't act. ( just wanna add that I don't think this relationship was healthy just that they had chemistry and did a good job with the acting part)
Ken and James are supposed to be the leads, but their performances felt like bottom-shelf micro-dramas. That rainbow reunion scene was tragic to watch, the kiss was totally awkward, and the sudden dancing scene at the end was pure cringe. How are we at the final episode and I still have no idea why these two are even in love?!
On top of the lack of chemistry, the plot logic completely fell apart:
Why did Ken conveniently have a bottle of rubbing alcohol on him ready to treat James right then and there?! Also he's a really shitty doctor overall.
The police are useless every week, but facing a whole swarm of Nours without calling for backup takes the cake. They just aim randomly I guess and hope for the best.
The teen subplot added zero value to the story.!!!The little brother didn't even care that his big brother was gone! It’s clear they were just shoehorned in to set up a future BL ship which is very typical, but who cares when they have no plot relevance or buildup?
Zero Answers: What happened to James’s dad? How do James’s powers actually work? WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS TO EVERYTHING? ARE THERE OTHER NOURS AROUND? And how are we supposed to accept this ending where Ken, an immortal Nour who spent the whole series wanting to die, suddenly accepts staying alive just to watch human James grow old and die?
This drama started out with so much promise, but it crashed and burned because of rushed romance that made no sense, flat acting, poor chemistry and an utterly messy script. Toey carried the episode with that emotional scene and quite frankly the whole series, but the leads and the writers completely dropped the ball. This deserves 5 stars at best mainly to respect Toey's acting. YIKES.

Title Nour Spoiler
Episode 8 had way better pacing than Ep 7, but I stand by my verdict: this show is a 5 or 6 at best, Toey (Dr. Ji) is carrying this entire show on his back. You can immediately tell he is a seasoned veteran actor with actual experience: his panic, grief, and emotional range are incredible.

On the flip side, Boss (James) is very lacking compared to the rest of the cast. His scenes are really hard to watch sometimes, and he has a terrible time carrying big emotional scenes that require anger, authority, or sadness.

Why did it take James a literal eternity to reach the dorm? It gave Chita and Dr. Ji enough time to go through an entire bloody, ritualistic intimacy scene. The timeline logic was absurd, and the police operate with zero protocol, backup, or brainpower. James’s "reading" ability gets convenient amnesia whenever the plot needs an obvious delay.

Also, I'm truly sick of James and Ken's dynamic at this point...it’s literally the exact same thing in every single episode with zero progress. The second couple is by far more interesting than the main pair and they have way better chemistry, though maybe I feel that way because of Boss's bad acting (Tong is better, but still overall lacking).

I truly hope that creepy NC scene's atmospheare was intentional, because there was nothing romantic about it. Feeding Ji blood to force his transformation into a Nour felt like non-consensual possession and body horror, not love.

The camera work is also super annoying. The shaky cam to look "artistic" doesn't work, and it's always either way too zoomed in or zoomed out. The James vs. Chita fight scene was poorly done because Boss really doesn't know what to do in those scenes (and the director is to blame as well). Chita's Backstory was nice but not original.
With only 1 episode left, I honestly don't know how they're going to conclude everything.

Fuck you mean My Stubborn disgusting Idk that sound shady azz fuck but man Boat & Oat have the chemistry to…
Calling a low-budget, poorly written show 'disgusting' is about bad production and trash scripts, not the actors' sexualities. Stop trying to weaponize homophobia to shield a flop from criticism just because you run out of arguments.
You said you're bored, so let's end it here. Take care.

Trying to spin critique into 'fear of gay intimacy' is pitiful. One of my favorite shows of all time is a BL, I'm just not mentally ill enough to confuse bad production with homophobia.
I call 50 Shades of Grey a disgusting mess too, so by your logic, I guess I'm terrified of straight intimacy as well? 😂😂😂
You can't turn a bad show into a societal debate just because someone rejects your low-budget trash. I'm not dropping to your level with slurs and tantrums. Bye-bye, enjoy your 'masterpiece'🤣🤣🤣hope they keep making them just for you. 😘

Fuck you mean My Stubborn disgusting Idk that sound shady azz fuck but man Boat & Oat have the chemistry to…
Did you just declare BoatOat a real-life gay couple and assign 'straight' labels to other actors based on on-screen sex scenes? Deciding sexualities to fit your fantasy is creepy, homophobic, and pathetic. You view actors as fetishized sex props, making you the exact parasocial fan they publicly tell to get a life.
You can agree Knot was trash, but the second I bring up your low-budget, low-rated 'masterpiece', you lose your mind? I brought it up to point out a pattern I noticed of this particular pairing getting saddled with garbage productions that hurt their chances at serious acting careers if that's their goal!! I'm viewing this purely as a casual viewer judging professional performance and directing! I don't care about this pairing, any other actor, or their private lives, because I'm not a pathetic, fanfic-obsessed shipper.
If you only watch panned shows for explicit bed scenes, there's no shame in that since you're literally their target audience, but being aggressive and defending a flop by pushing unhinged real-life gay fanfiction isn't a flex. It's embarrassing.
Log off and learn basic human boundaries.

Thank you for this, I left a comment on this page asking if Duang was mentally challenged because I truly couldn't handle him and got dragged by blind shippers for apparently not knowing what "golden retriever" and "whimsical" characters are. Like no, this is a young adult man that acts 5 and sticks his tongue out like a dog to a boy that doesn't give a shit about him omg. At first I was like ok he has a crush on him and acts stupid maybe it'll get better but then I couldn't take it anymore because Duang must have some weird humiliation kink. I skipped most of the show to get to the end and the second couple was even worse, so bland and forced to prepare for their own show most likely.
I didn't even care about the cliché absent parents trope I realy skipped it cuz I didn't care. Anyway glad to know that other normal people exist. Anyone rating this a 9 and a 10 is either a child or a blind shipper.
