There are very few shows or drama's that I have seen that have gotten this kind of emotional reaction out of me. Way Back Love represented a feeling and memory that I have long since locked away. Feeling responsible for the passing of someone, carrying that weight and thinking that you could have done more or done something differently. Thinking about how you should have told them how you felt before... This drama was everything for me.
Kim Min-Ha's perfromance was my favorite from her thus far. Every scream, every tear, every ounce of pain I felt through the screen.
This drama explored what it means to greive, process pain and eventually move on from it perfectly. And I highly recommend people to give this one a watch. I promise that you won't be disappointed.

I've always been one to believe that people are best understood through their own personal language. How they love, what makes them sad, what makes them happy. That is what is at the core of this drama. Cha Mu-hee is a complex and lovable main character who struggles with excepting love. She belives that all kindness will eventually run out and that she will be left alone. So she runs away, locks herself up in her mind and allows her past to control her. Until she runs into Joo Ho-jin, a translator who can speak many languages but fails to understand Cha Mu-Hee's. Together these two embark on one of the most compelling, relatable and touching journey's of slef discovery and love that I have ever seen.
Go Youn-jung and Kim Seon-ho are match made in heaven for these roles. It is so good to see Seon-ho thrive in this role and I could not help but cheer him on every episode. Youn-jung is stunning and steals every scene that she is in with her bubbly demenor and contagious smile.
Everything, from the locations this drama explores, to the music and cinematography was just for lack of better words, gorgeous. And in the the end I was left feeling both sad and happy. I wish that it wasn't over but i'm so glad that 2026 started off with this one.
