It would have been a sad but beautiful ending, but thankfully it wasn't. I'm not ready for a sad ending 😢, we just want them together without anything getting in the way, that's all. I don't really like that genre either; I prefer this Xuanhuan style, like Love Beyond the Grave, which has a good balance of power and a human world, and doesn't have confusion of rules and kingdoms.
