I'm glad everyone in the comments agrees that the 2nd couple is infuriating to watch. Literally been skipping…
That ending was funny rather than annoying. Enjoyed the drama very much. Kim Ji Won and Park Seo Joon carried the show from start to finish on their backs lol. Great chemistry and acting from them.

8.5/10 just cos of that annoying 2nd couple, but still enjoyed it.

I'm glad everyone in the comments agrees that the 2nd couple is infuriating to watch. Literally been skipping all their scenes, especially Juman; he pisses me off the most. He legit doesn't deserve her, the idiot. Other than that, I have no complaints so far. Great drama

You know what? I think I have a thing for slow-paced drama. It's more appealing to me cos i enjoyed this drama very much and the character Dong Jin. Beautifully shot, and the pacing obviously fits the mood.

An 8.5/10 for me, plus I liked the Sim Woo Joo character and her journey throughout this drama. Love her family as well. But Dong Jin's mother really was irredeemable, even towards the end, I couldn't believe it was the same woman from "When the weather is fine" 😅, but she really did her character well enough for me to hate it

Currently in episode 4, and even "When the weather is nice" was better at the slow-pacedness. Nearly dropped…
I have never been so glad to be wrong about a drama. This hit way closer to home than I expected, especially the family dynamics. Very similar to mine, and I understood Chang Hee and saw a bit of me in him.

Really good drama; I just had to give it a 9/10 cos of how hard it hit me, and I'm happy for it. Don't have much to say really but I learned some valuable lessons from this

The eldest sister does not deserve a happy ending, I will die on that hill
I don't know why you said this, but I'm guessing she gets even more obnoxious as we progress 😅, cos I'm watching, and I haven't seen anything yet to make me have this thought process or agree. Other than the fact she's also kind of an idiot as well 😅

Currently in episode 4, and even "When the weather is nice" was better at the slow-pacedness. Nearly dropped it after the 2nd episode but persisted cos of comments here and things I read elsewhere that made me watch in the first place. Plus, I came here immediately after watching When the weather is nice, cos it was a recommendation

Not much to say really. Started off really enjoying it, then towards the end they lost me. But it was a good watch, with beautiful scenery and cinematography. An 8/10 for me

One thing I loved so much was Eun Seob's family dynamics; I always had a wide smile on my face whenever they interacted with each other. The sister, the dad, and mum. A truly warm family.

Episode 18 and Kang San is really getting on my nerves. Leave her alone tf; this isn't chasing; it's harassment
Well, he got on my nerves till late at the end, but overall it was a good drama. Nothing to write home about, but the visuals, scenery, and cinematography were stunning. A 7.5/10 for me; could've been an 8, but Kang San annoyed me too much, so I had to deduct 1 pt but gave back 0.5 cos of how cute Kang and Young were in some scenes. 😅

I actually found ML annoying, even though I usually think this actor is cool in other roles, he was cringe in…
Wow 😅 how long have you been watching it for tho?

I didn't mind the final plot twist completely, as the first episode with HW made me want him as the lead, so I…
Yeah, on this I agree as well, but the plot twist did catch me offguard tho. Made sense he would be the final lead. Yeah, I felt bad for Minyoung too 😅 but her remembering the same words dojun said when HW said them just made it bittersweet but nonetheless, I didn't hate the ending like everyone

Yeah, now that you mentioned it about his father, it didn't really make sense how it was handled, but aside from these minor flaws, I loved the show overall still.

Dunno what that ending was, but it was a fun watch at least. Nothing really to unpack; it's a spy series, so it's supposed to be over the top sometimes. A 7.5/10 for me and i think i was the only one that wasn't really bothered by her hairstyle. 🤷‍♂️

So glad I decided to watch this after being on my WL for so long. Icl, I don't really have much complaint. This was way better than Suspicious Partner, even though they were very similar in theme.

I don't know why people say Bae Suzy is stiff as an actress because I think she was quite good here. How else is she supposed to showcase to us a broken character who was waiting for her eventual death and at the same time hoping to change it?

A 9/10 for me purely on how much I enjoyed it plus the dynamics of the members, especially the Criminal Division Three workers. They were really funny.

This drama really took me off guard in a wonderful way. I laughed so much during some scenes, and I love the perfect blend of serious and comedic tones. First time watching the FL in a drama, and she was very good. Our ML was very good as well. The supporting casts were perfect as well; I really loved their dynamic.

I give this an 8.5/10 because I really enjoyed it and it took me by surprise. Dramas that do this to me will always make me like them.

Funny thing is I wasn’t entirely satisfied with that ending or like it that much but it was ok

I kinda understand why people hate that ending too but let’s forget about the negatives. Lee sung min, the actor that you are. Superb dynamic with Song Joong Ki, who as always fantastic genius of an actor

Those are the 2 that really carried this entire show on their backs. An 8/10 for me but would’ve been a 9 if the screenwriter didn’t decide to go elsewhere after episode 15 but here we are. Nonetheless acting masterclass on display from those 2 I mentioned.

Just for those 2 alone watch it, you won’t regret but make sure you’re prepared for that final episode 😅 (which again I didn’t hate) just felt they could’ve taken a different turn 🤷🏽‍♂️

Making the ML drink that love potion 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️ It's not looking good atm at all. Hopefully…
After episode 7 I was invested again, and it didn't disappoint. Yes, Yun Na was cheating, but before Sin Yu knew about it, he was already thinking of cheating himself. So I think we can say he cheated after the fact (still cheating), but he had been looking to end things way before; she was just clingy af. So I understand people not really liking this because of that aspect, ultimately glorifying cheating and calling it "fate." But I look past these things because it's K-drama.

What I look for is if the story-writing is compelling enough to overlook certain flaws and if the actors (mainly the leads but some supporting cast) are executing that story very well, and this didn't disappoint in the latter, and the former just had minor details that I mentioned but didn't really take away from the main plot.

Jo Bo-ah, as always since her debut, is fantastic as an actress and sold her character for me. Our ML Ro Woon, my first intro to him, and he was a great match for her, and their chemistry was solid off the bat, even though I kind of hated the love potion thing at first in the beginning, but ultimately it didn't matter. The other leads and cast really did well too. But one thing that bugged me and still is, how did Na Jung Beom get his hands on spells or even know about them? And was it the love potion that made him crazy, or did he just legit think Hong Jo looked like his dead wife? Plot holes were bound to exist in this sort of drama, but everything else was very good.

Overall, besides these aspects, I mentioned one important factor that supersedes most of all I said: enjoyment. If I don't enjoy it, I can never rate it no matter what. So I gave this a 9/10 purely from the acting and execution from our leads, their chemistry, and my overall enjoyment of the drama. Really glad I finally watched this after putting it off for so long, and it was really worth it for me. This is probably enough for a review, so I'll just write this as my very first ever review on MDL; it deserves that.
