legendary screen writer

Overall, this drama is inspired by real historical events, which makes it really interesting to watch. Even though it was filmed quite a while ago, the quality is outstanding. The costumes, the sets, the cases, and the locations are all beautifully designed—everything feels carefully crafted. It truly feels like a high-budget drama. The actors bring the era to life perfectly, whether as generals, advisors, or soldiers, and the fight scenes are incredible.

But the real highlight of this drama is the screenwriting. It can be a bit complex and requires the audience to pay attention, connecting events and character actions over time. Many people, especially older viewers, watch this drama multiple times because of how well everything is connected and how satisfying it is to follow the story. The plot threads weave together beautifully, making this truly a “wow” drama.

prepare tissue

This drama is a complete masterpiece. Everything about it is impressive—from the costumes, cast, and acting to the cinematography and fight scenes, everything is top-notch. There’s a case that the female lead tries to solve, and her actions around it naturally drive the story forward, shaping the plot and her connection with the male lead.
Even though the plot wasn’t exactly what I expected, I really loved the journey of all the characters together. Despite some conflicts along the way, they overcame them and gradually came to understand each other, working together to achieve a shared goal.

it’s ok to face a setback in life

At first, I thought this modern Chinese drama was just about a teacher helping build a football team and leading them to victory. But it’s so much more than that.

This drama reminds us not to give up, while also showing that it’s okay to experience setbacks in life. It’s okay to be a “slacker” sometimes if slowing down helps you live a healthier, happier life instead of constantly burdening yourself.

Throughout the story, we witness the pain, trauma, and personal struggles of each student, and many of their experiences are reflected in Lin Wanxing. As she helps each student confront their problems and heal, she gradually heals herself as well. Watching her journey of growth is one of the most rewarding parts of the drama.

The series beautifully balances suspense, romance, friendship, and comedy, with each element complementing the others without overshadowing the story’s emotional core.

I highly recommend this drama to anyone looking for something fresh, heartfelt, and meaningful. It’s much more than a sports drama—it’s a story about healing, resilience, and finding your way through life’s challenges.
While many dramas go beyond reality and constantly push the idea that “winning” in life means chasing glory, status, fame, or wealth, this drama takes a different approach.

It reminds us that living an ordinary, peaceful life is also a victory. You don’t have to be the best, the richest, or the most successful to have a meaningful life. Sometimes, simply finding happiness, healing from your past, and living authentically is more than enough.

That’s what makes this drama so refreshing. It celebrates growth, resilience, and the quiet victories that often go unnoticed.

epic comeback

This revenge drama is absolutely amazing and a must-watch. I don’t even know where to start, but the cinematography, filming, case design, and acting are all 10 out of 10. One of the most interesting parts is how the female lead’s actions unintentionally drive the story forward. She writes a poem admiring the princess of the country, and the princess sees it and mistakenly believes it was written by the female lead’s husband. Feeling that someone finally appreciates her sacrifices for the country, the princess decides she wants the female lead’s husband, not knowing it was actually the female lead who wrote the poem. This misunderstanding sets off a chain of events that eventually shapes the entire story, leading to the main characters’ fates and bringing everything together.

There are also many villains in this drama, and each one is very well developed. The female lead takes them down one by one, but thanks to the male lead, she receives help—not in a way that feels forced or one-sided. He also gains something from it, so it doesn’t feel like he’s just helping her because he likes her. Their dynamic is complex and satisfying, which makes the story even more enjoyable.

many love line

This drama is not completely wuxia nor xianxia, but I would say it leans more toward wuxia. The story is quite complex because there are so many love lines, which is why you can see fans of different couples debating and “shipping wars” every single day during the premiere and even after the show ended. But despite all that, it is clear that this drama is excellent. The story feels complete, especially since it continues as a sequel to the previous hit show.
The story may not have a lot of plot twists, but the dialogue, cinematography, and scene-to-scene execution are so well done that it’s a true pleasure to watch.

dopamine boosters

This is my first modern Chinese romance drama that I really enjoyed. I rarely watch Chinese modern drama because of how they film it like an ads . Speed and love so far so good . it might be the most novel like drama ever. I believe most people who enjoy this drama are also love to read novel book . the cute female lead and the handsome male lead . the car racing, the boxing , omg these are all I need . the most wholesome is the chemistry between the lead . I watch countless drama yet I never encountered this chemistry. They are a match from heaven .

slow pace

This drama is so good and it feels so original xianxia . maybe because I watch it first before any xianxia drama but this is so entertaining . the plot , the angst , the costumes, the casts are all amazing and the special effects feel like ahead of time . I watch this for more than 10 times . not rewatch the whole series but some episodes that I find it enjoyable . This is my top3 xianxia drama of all the time even though it has many episodes but trust me there is no boring episode . I rate it 10/10 .

I love how far this drama goes to have a modern fantasy characters live in a modern world with a modern lifestyle too which is so fun to watch . the story reveal the plot one by one is so engaging and interesting. the dynamic between the brothers also fun to watch . The female lead is so smart which I really love her character . she’s so strong to face such a thing from young age .

enjoyable show

My influence is so small . I enjoy this show . so I want to express my love for this show . I actually never thought that I would love a drama that the leads already married but I was wrong . I just never meet the right one. This drama is so beautiful even though it’s not totally something new but I still find it enjoyable. The lack of communication of couple is so realistic and how they find each other spark again is well written. I could feel their struggle and hard moments before they finally open up to each other again . The rating here is so cruel but we have different opinions so I respect all .
