I can actually elaborate on wuwu’s screentime, in the early episodes, jilu had the flattest character arc, and most of the comments back then were about WUWU because their fight scenes were what really caught people’s attention, that alone shows how gjm highlighted them, there were even comments saying jilu’s romance arc felt boring at first, but JJY fans were patient and kept saying they were waiting for the buildup and jilu only really started gaining attention around episode 9. also, if you look at it properly, wuwu consistently had screentime in the first 10mins in every episodes, their scenes were more action-focused, while other arcs took time to build emotionally.

I haven’t even seen wuwu fans hyping them here, it just feels like some of them only want to see their fave on screen, they don't talk about plot. If they actually came here and talked about wuwu, joined discussions and shared scenes or character analysis, maybe the energy would be different but they only show up here to point out how “unimportant” their fave is.

Like the story is literally unfolding step by step, and instead of seeing the bigger picture, they’re stuck on complaints. Meanwhile, we’re just here appreciating how the narrative is building everything up in its own time.

I get what you’re saying, it’s clearer than anything. How can a character have meaningful development if the story hasn’t even explored anything about her yet? Development needs a foundation and right now the narrative is still building that.
People forget that the plot is unfolding according to its own pacing and structure. Not every character is meant to peak at the same time, and not every arc is revealed all at once. Some characters are intentionally held back so their development hits harder later on. I just hope fans start to understand that. The story is progressing the way it’s supposed to, and constant complaints especially from people who don’t even fully understand the plot, don’t really make sense.

Actually, It' not about LWY’s character. I’m calling out the people who won’t stop complaining, even though their fave is the one getting most of the character development. The irony is wild.
