I just saw the rating on IMDb and wow, it's unbelievably low. Why do people hate it this much? Honestly, if this drama had aired in 2024, it would have been considered one of the best xianxia dramas of that period.

Bruh. he literally followed her because he wanted to kill her for his brother. despite that, the FL still trusted him and even saved his life. Now you want her to mourn his brother, when in fact the fl saved him too.

Why is the rating so low? This is the only costume drama I've enjoyed this year. The chemistry between the leads is amazing, and the plot has been engaging and well-paced so far.

I decided to give the first two episodes a shot anyway and now I'm hooked! The lighthearted comedy and refreshing plot are exactly what I needed. After sitting through so many heavy dramas with dark aesthetics and intense, overly ''strong'' female leads, this feels like a breath of fresh air. It’s so nice to just sit back and watch a sweet romance featuring a clumsy, adorable, yet secretly resilient female lead paired with a cold, low-key jealous ML.

Acting and visuals really can't save a plot imo

It’s like they’re living in an echo chamber where only glowing reviews are allowed, expecting every single person to absolutely love the drama. Lol

Tbh, I'm surprised by the score. It just a pretty standard revenge plot that's been done countless times in Cdramas, with nothing particularly unique about it. But ZYR really carried his character and managed to keep me invested enough to continue watching

Nah, there are plenty of historical cdramas out there with only 24 eps

After watching 2 episodes, it feels like a pretty standard rebirth trope you’d see in a short dramas lol it’s not exactly binge-worthy or hooking me for the next episode, but dudu and Yiran are doing a fantastic job with the acting

It's a female centric drama where much focus on FC. Even MC barely mentioned in the novel,

Lool, those people complaining clearly just want to drag Joseph or CDL’s names. It’s obvious they already dislike this drama and are just using their names as an excuse to hate on it, If they were fans of Joseph and CDL, they’d be supporting Lonely Heroes instead. but that drama didn’t even gain recognition, it only has 4.5 rating on douban with 8k viewers. So it’s kind of ironic for people to claim they’re fans of both while spending more time criticizing another drama than actually supporting Lonely Heroes.

If you’re a fan of CDL and Joseph, you can watch "A Lonely Hero's Journey" it’s basically all about them. No extra couples or side stories, just full screen time of them to enjoy as much as you want. Stop complaining here, y'all getting cheap FR. Also rate each episode of their own drama.
