So it’s kind of ironic for people to claim they’re fans of both while spending more time criticizing another drama than actually supporting Lonely Heroes.

I tried to get into it for Lin Yunrui, so I gave a few episodes a chance to see if I could continue. but I just can’t. The FL's acting really throws me off. Her eyes completely emotionless and she keeps repeating the same expression, like she’s trying too hard to come off as cold or cool 🤦‍♀️

That’s why Wyi character is dumb. she was written mainly to revolve around Jiling, almost as if her entire purpose is tied to him. She wants him to stay alive because she wants him there with her. It comes off as selfish at times, like she’s prioritizing her desire to keep him over respecting his choices, instead of feeling like a strong, independent character with her own clear priorities, her existence is just to react to Jiling and keep him alive, even if it creates more suffering in the long run.
