Ok, just one more vent, this drama really feels like it has 5 equally important characters with 5 lowkey equal billing. Lijie’s character is way more complex than the rest and it seems like EDG is trying to balance everyone’s significance which makes the plot super layered and complicated. The 2 main couples are starting to get clearer now. Chiwen (Rui) is mostly focused on figuring out how Jiuying possessed people and how JY is connected to dizhu and wuyi. SG is all about finding out who murdered his clan. But lijie existence just throws the entire plot into mess.

they just made the plot more complex with that illusion but I know the major story is tied up in it..who’s who, hidden motives and all the connections. It’s useless now to try and guess or theorize about everything.. Still, at least by ep15, some things start to become clear. Well maybe. I’ll just sit back, enjoy the ride and let the rest of the episodes take me on this crazy roller coaster of revelations and twist.

What I really like about this drama is that it avoids all the overused tropes, there’s no love triangle, no dumb and no helpless damsel in distress waiting to be saved, every character actually uses their brain, thinks things through.

That’s a bit harsh. I'm not fan of her but acting critiques are fair, but reducing her to “plastic surgery face” just makes the take sound shallow..if the performance didn’t work for you, say that. but plenty of people are enjoying her role, so maybe it’s more about preference than “torture.”

She’s clearly a woman, regardless of whether she’s attracted to men or women, she’s still originally female. That’s why it comes across as same-sex romance, and it’s surprising it passed censorship.

I'm so satisfied with the 2 episodes today and I hope it will keep in this way until further episodes. CDL and Shunxi's acting are bringing this drama.

When will VOS plot going to focus to Wangyan and Shiguang???Because honestly they are like a 2nd ML and 2nd FL.

Is jingyi using her own voice in all episodes?because her voice as dizhu sounds beautiful than the first episodes as wuyi?

I love this drama so far, the cgi is insane. Wangyan and Wushiguang chemistry is topnotch, but I don't see any chemistry with Luwuyi and Jiling at all.
