First of all, not everyone has the same taste. Secondly, even if someone does not like the early episodes of a drama at all, it is not fair to give a rating without watching the entire series. A rating or review based on only a few episodes can change later, because the drama may get better or worse as it progresses. Yes, every opinion should be respected, but reviewing a drama based on just a few episodes instead of the whole series is not the right approach. This can easily confuse many people, and it may continue to do so in the future.

I’m not sure what kind of acting or script you expect from a rom-com drama. However, I strongly believe that a drama should only be judged only after watching it in full. You can rate the episodes you’ve actually watched, but it’s not fair to judge the whole drama without finishing it. If someone doesn’t enjoy a drama, they are completely free to drop it. But giving very low ratings and harsh criticism without watching the full series doesn’t really make sense."

I’m never against criticism, and I never will be. But this drama is definitely not a one, two or even three-star show. I honestly question the judgment of people who are rating it that low. The drama has not even finished yet and some people watched just two episodes and started leaving harsh comments and one or two-star reviews. If you are finding it that hard to watch, then simply don’t continue with it. There is no need to flood it with low ratings and reviews before it has even ended. Trust me, it is really worth watching. If you enjoy rom-coms, you will definitely love this one. It has only 12 episodes, and each episode gets better and better. So far, 5 episodes have been released, and the last 3 have been the best ones yet. Believe me, you will not regret watching this drama. It is absolutely worth your time.

I know the genuine LR fandom would never do anything like this. But it’s also true that LR’s popularity is huge, which means there are more toxic people too. To be honest, I’m really tired of seeing all of this.

Because of the Lovely Runners shippers, this drama’s rating has already dropped, and that is truly ridiculous. The LR shippers are among the most toxic people I have ever seen, and they are attacking this drama for no reason.

Oh, so you’ve already watched those dramas! I thought you hadn’t seen them because they weren’t on your list 😅 and yes, you definitely should watch My Mister. It won the award for Best Korean Drama at the 2019 Baeksang Arts Awards.

You’ve probably watched far more dramas than I have, so I’m not sure I have much to recommend to you. In fact, I should probably be asking you for recommendations instead 😅 Still, I don’t think you’ve watched Life Gives You Tangerines, My Mister & Hotel del luna yet, and I really think you should. They’re definitely worth watching and if you enjoy emotionally intense stories with a sad ending you should definitely watch Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo—it is truly worth watching 🙂
