yeah but so many viewers here are too young or too shallow to appreciate a satirical look at what it means to…
I was told because it had an 'affair' in it - sadly young netizins acting like the puritan police. At least it's slowly creeping up as people who actually watched it rate it.

Same here, I watched it for the three leads who are all stellar, mature actors.
Viki had it listed as a family drama and thriller, not as a comedy at all, so I wouldn't have watched but for the leads.

The review-bombing on MDL and IMDB ratings that gave it low ratings at the start also deterred people. Thankfully the word is getting out and more people are watching and those ratings are creeping up. Can't gauge it's popularity in Korea as Coupang don't use Neilsen ratings, but if it had a higher international rating I could see it being picked up for broader international distribution.

gyeong hee trying to cheat, but stops at the last moment, either cheat or not cheat. though I would've preferred…
He is basically being blackmailed into supporting everyone. That part was so funny - I was worried he didn't get his just deserts but then it shows him paying off both the wives (who both have 'blackmail' videos). He has to keep his business afloat so everyone else get paid.

ML gets the most punishment - he becomes the most hated man in Korea and will never work as an actor again. At least the two women can start new businesses (and FL had a lot of support from the public).

I'm glad they didn't wrap the ending up in a bow but let the audience decide what the future would look like

I don't recall them ever saying minor - could it be a translation issue?
Wasn't she saying open up the profile to any possibility. I thought the profiler was the plant but then she suggested it might not be a man. She wasn't keen about the detective going off on his own lead tho.

they kept saying that kingfisher could be a minor yet they’ve been trying to catch him/her for 15 years! How?…

The fact that this show is rated 7.6 tells everything you need to know about MDLers...I think most of them.wete…
Look at the age breakdown - its younger audiences who rated it low (teens and probably teens faking their ages). Another negative review-bombing - happens for shows the prudes don't like.

Ye Ji doing everything to survive and save Min Seo while Min Seo is just: 🤐🤐🤐🤐
That was so funny - you can tell who's the daughter of the actor/influencer.

why no comedy tag?
Gosh yes, hadn't even realised. Crazy. It is foremost a comedy - I'd never describe it as a 'family' drama - boy a few people would get a surprise!

Love this show. Satisfying ending. Everyone turned out to be a*holes, even the police. The criminal who kept getting off takes the fall for the one crime he didn't commit. And our main protaganists all get punished for the one thing they were guilty of all along - the affairs. Really clever concept, beautiful production, actors did great but the stand out was Kim Hye-soo.

What's with the low rating, this show is a freaking goldmine of humour + thrill.
Immature kiddies that shouldn't be watching and prudes who don't like the word affair.

Loved the chaos of episode 7. The disasters just keep accumulating, they really aren't slowing down. The last episode is going to need to cover a lot of ground.

Can't believe it finishes next week. Do these dysfunctional families/adults deserve a happy ending? Will anyone else end up dead?

So, the siblings really do have feelings for each other?
They are step siblings and there's no incest if that's what you're worried about. There will be plot twists.

did anyone watching bonafide killer realise that min seo is the one who played role of young poison girl in bon's…
Didn't realise, now I've have to watch back! Both are great shows.

Nah, the director obviously wants to shoot this type of comedic twist, and i think it’s brilliant. Otherwise…
I don't understand why you keep watching if you don't think it's funny. The girls' relationship isn't weird, and yes the way they are handling the cheating is funny. It's not like they are glorifying affairs. Dark humour = satirising painful or taboo subjects.

I might be too conservative. This show is really too explicit.this drama has nothing to do romance or love, this…
This is not a romcom, it was quite clearly marketed as a dark comedy crime-thriller with an R+ rating. Even the title makes it clear it isn't a romcom. Always read the ratings and genre before taking on a kdrama. Korean entertainment is so much more than fluffy romcoms.

It shows 18+. Is there any nudity?
There are sex scenes though but no nudity. There are emotionally mature topics though so it isn't suitable for under 18s.

To me it's like that the sick & evil lawyer is going to play them all. I sincerely hope that he gets killed…
I wonder if there will be another body - the lawyer. He's so creepy and up to no good, and now the brother thinks the lawyer was up to something too.

I'm a little slow but I'm rewatching it and I just caught the ML's star friend who acted in the drama "Mackerel…
This is so multi-layered that even on a second watch I'm only picking up some of the easter eggs, esp as no longer have the nuanced subs (since they got rid of the volunteer teams on viki)

E6 ENDING was fucking diabolical and hilarious. What's with the low rating, this drama is damn good.
Have a look at the age breakdown of the rating. Emotionally mature themes not being handled by younger viewers (or puritans).

I thought it was obvious there would be no romance - they were clear about the 20+yr age difference in the characters,…
Nothing happened in the series and I wouldn't want to disappoint romcom lovers who might go into it expecting a romance. The Daddy Long Legs reference made it quite clear that FL thought a relationship with him was cringe. Comedy kdrama can just be about friendship and found family.

The thing is, if you want to see a romance and others do not, that's fine. The characters have a future ahead, how the audience imagines that future is up to each of us.
