It did what it came to do.
Once Upon a Small Town isn’t for everybody. But it did what it came to do. It offers a respite in the wide-ranging world of heavy, complicated, overly dramatic, sometimes loud, sometimes weird, sometimes unrealistic KDramas. The beauty of KDrama Land is its volume of diverse stories and the talent that creates them.
For what it is, this is a nice little story - only 6 total hours. It didn’t come to make big dramatic noise. Don’t try to pick it apart too much. Take it for what it is and enjoy it. ☺️
The stand-outs are Choo Young You and the child actors. You will like them.
