Cringiest Lead ever

Maybe because I watched this in 2026, I felt that this was so outdated. Anyway even in 2022, which teenager would be so clueless about sex? Amagi was the cringiest character I was seen to date. I guess they thought they will make him cute but he came across as a 10 year old both with his constant prancing, making çute' faces and his utter lack of emotional depth. The acting or whatever little there was was best served by the supporting cast. The only thing that makes this watchable is Takara: his looks could actually kill! Just watch the teaser and skip the series!

GMMTV needs to up its game!

Last year it was Khemjira and this year Love Upon a Time: great cast, great acting, loved the costumes, the sets and also it touched on so many aspects of being gay in a meaningful way. Domundi is just blowing other production houses out of the water and I also like that both the stars from this show as well as Khemjira are not flooding our social media feed with 'fan service'. This could be the new way to do BLs, just great acting and great chemistry in the show but not dragging that out into a fake relationship just for the fans who end up disappointed when it eventually comes out as being fake. Keep them coming Domundi!

When the side series is better than thee original series!

I watched the original series and it was so full of BL tropes that it felt unreal. This one really feels truly Gay. Most gay relationships start with sex like this one does and this whole trope of 'Forever Love' that most BL series push mostly for straight women audiences is not real for the experience most of us Asian queer people have to live in reality. That way I totally understood why Team felt so unsure about his feelings because unlike straight relationships, even if you hook up with someone multiple times, it does not equate to a emotional connection. The way this was built up was way more real unlike other BLs that start with 2 guys falling in love just by looking at each other! I hope this gets more hype than it is currently as it deserves way more stars than Until we meet again which is a completely asexual and unrealistic love story that is really not part of the queer experience. The not talking bit that a lot of reviewers have talked about is a huge part of queer experience: society has always taught us not to express ourselves even when we meet a special someone and that this series reflects beautifully. rather than following all these marketed BL couples from GMMTV, you should just watch this and make this screen couple more of a thing!
