Pleasantly surprised

I have to be honest—I have never really been a fan of Han So-hee .In the dramas I'd seen her in before, she always felt a little dry and dull to me. I just never really connected with her acting.

Then I watched My Name.

**And this woman ATE.** 🔥

I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed her in this role. Yoon Ji-woo was so different from the characters I'd seen her play before, and for the first time, I felt like I could really connect with her.

The story was dark, violent and intense, but what pulled me in was Ji-woo's pain. Losing her father in such a heartbreaking way completely changed the direction of her life. That scene broke my heart, and I understood why she became so determined to find the person responsible.

And then came the fighting.

The action scenes were one of my favorite parts of the drama. They were brutal, messy and physical. Ji-woo wasn't some invincible superhero—she got hurt, exhausted and beaten up, which made the fights feel much more real.

And yes...

**The intimate scene.** 👀😂

I loved it. It was unexpected, but I thought it worked because it gave Ji-woo a rare moment of vulnerability and connection in the middle of all the darkness.

But honestly, **the moment that BROKE me was when the ML died.** 💔

I was not prepared for that at all.

After everything Ji-woo had already lost, watching her lose someone she had finally begun to trust and care about was devastating. It felt like she couldn't catch a break. Just when she found a little bit of comfort and connection, it was taken away from her.

That death hit me harder because of everything that had happened before it. Ji-woo had spent so much of the story surrounded by violence, betrayal and loss, and his death felt like yet another reminder that she couldn't escape the world she had been pulled into.

By the end, I was emotionally exhausted. 😂

*My Name* isn't perfect, and I still wish we had gotten more character development and more time with certain relationships. But it delivered where it mattered most for me: **the action, the emotion, the revenge story and the heartbreak.**

And Han So-hee genuinely surprised me.

I went into this drama thinking she was dry and dull, and I came out thinking:

**"Okay girl... I owe you an apology. You ATE this role."** 😂🔥
