I hate this film. I feel sad just thinking about it.

As a gay person, one of the many questions I have about life is when I'll finally settle down, or whether I'll ever meet someone I can build a life with. And this film just slapped me with reality.

I couldn't even find the time to be bored by its slower episodes because, somewhere along the way, I realized that the story was showing me one of the possible futures I might face. That thought alone was enough to make it hurt.

I wouldn't rewatch it, not because I think it's a bad film, but because of the melancholy it leaves behind. It hits too close to home, turning a story about love into a reminder of a future I'm afraid of.

And people that can't relate to this film is either do not belong to the community, or have a very happy and comfortable life.
