had so much potential

Ugh where do I begin... I had fun watching it, but only because I just skipped through so many scenes cos they were really draggy towards the end.

Thup's acting is atrocious, and the fact that this is his third production and he is struggling really says a lot. Idk if he is just weirded out by being paired with another guy or what but he rlly has gotta do better. Singha was doing most of the heavy lifting on the chemistry. Even tho I felt that some dialogues would just end with Singha saying an awkward "ok...", I feel that Singha delivers it rather well, so I just hope by some form of weird osmosis, Thup's acting develops in his next projects, if there are any.

With characterization, ultimately, the damsel in distress trope gets played out wayyyy too much for my liking, and coupled with Thup's lack of acting skills, it is just formulaic and dry. I much preferred the side couple's chemistry as low-stakes as it was, and even to some extent, King's intrusion into the case.

I think the story itself was mediocre at best. It was very obvious who the main villain was going to be, and while the side villain took me by surprise, it really couldn't make up for such an anticlimatic ending.

Ig these types of shows are really only ok if you go in wanting a pure, full on love story and not much else, because unlike Khemjira, there wasn't much to the spookiness elements of this series either. Overall this was really bad, and the good cinematography, Singha's acting, and some type of allusion to Thao Wessuwan's light, is what saved some part of this show for me.
