good plot and meaning behind the main characters. could've been better
tbh this was a good and heartbreaking story. loved the main couple and ye li, omg. I need to hug my girl. i know most historical dramas are meant to focus on the political aspects, but I truly wish it focused more on the main couple. imo I wanted to see so much more of them and their growth/love for one another. there could've been more chemistry built up and shown bc the love line felt rushed. and I know they said it was genetics but the entire grey hair overnight got me LOL and the FL fight scenes were disappointing, especially knowing her backstory to it, I expected to see a bit more
but I dooo love the OST and I NEEEEED the bgm of some of those humming/beautiful instrumentals. felt so magical and honestly made the drama 10000% better.
