Is such a meaningful and emotionally mature drama. I really loved how the characters grow through their experiences rather than changing overnight. The story explores healing, self-acceptance, grief, and what it really means to choose your own happiness. The female lead especially feels very human and complex, and her emotional development is beautifully written.

I already knew Ding and Ancy from Melody of Golden Age, so I had no doubts about their acting or their chemistry they were already amazing together there. What surprised me this time was actually the story. I didn’t expect to become this interested in the plot, and that’s what really pulled me into the drama. For me, a good storyline is always what makes the difference, and The Road to Splendor definitely delivered on that side. The acting, chemistry, and story are all working together really well, which makes this much more enjoyable for me than a drama that relies mainly on its cast.
