True. It was a disappoint for me. when I first saw the comments, I was like okay so this drama has hopes but that hope shattered in a within few episodes. Writing is to blame, ML character was unbearable for me. In romance, ML becoming this toxic is not something to be cheer about. Since they changed many things from novel, then they could have remove some and add more to in the script. ATG is on hold for me now, exact same problem. I may watch it later but not now.

Yes, I also had same thoughts. That particular scene made me little uncomfortable. Maybe because I was confused about her behaviour in that particular scene. Actually, I was questioning her manners in that scene. Later episodes shows there might be some reason for her to like that.

I dropped the drama because I cannot digest this kind of relationship. For ME, she is independent and strong woman for enduring all her pain and suffering one by one.I didn't watch that drama you mentioned, so I cannot comment on that. But Why compare? both are two different characters from different dramas.

Not because of novel writer -> because if they had adapted novel as EXACTLY as it is then whole people that are excusing ML will be the one who will blame him and will curse him. So it might be that mostly the changes made in this drama is a choice by the drama team, not from novel writer. I am DEFENDING only FL here, neither ML nor SML. For me, She is the victim here in this drama/novel. She is a strong woman with 💪 convictions. Her self-respect and ability to endure that kind of trauma are commandable for me. You like her chemistry with the ML, WHILE I like her as a 💪 and independent character. I believe I have made myself clear.
