I binge watched this one. This drama is a breather. It's light and easygoing. Seulgi's acting is daebak as usual. AHS is another oppa to look out for. He sometimes look like Nam Joo Hyuk ❤
It took me a long time to watch this one. I would watch and then stop in the middle of the episodes and then look for other dramas. Finally I get to finish the first three episodes, after, I can't help but binge watch it. I didn't know what I was missing. JCW and PMY's chemistry is bomb. I still can't get over them both. I hope they get another project, even a movie will do. Or I hope they date for real. ❤
Woah! She got booked up to 2020!! She's really a good actress, I admire her ❤. I'm a fan since Sungkyunkwan and Healer made me love her more. She has good chemistry with whomever. But with Changwook it's bomb. I hope they get another project, even a movie will do.
I really like the plot ❤. Another one of a kind. Though I find it hard to watch with the lights off because some scenes have horror effects lol. Forgive me I have a light heart, never been a fan of horror movies. xD
I'm watching this on fast forward, though short, it tends to get annoying. KJK acts like how a typical girl in a shoujo manga. I don't know if this is a manga but if this is one, she portrayed her character accordingly. I'm a fan of both manga and kdramas, but if a manga gets to be adapted on live action especially through a kdrama, I won't be able to enjoy it much. I prefer the two separately.
I've been holding out of this one because of the terrible pilot episode and the succeeding ones. It's 12 on the midnight, after I got tired of my games I gave this again a shot. And guess what, I'm still on episode 5 and I'm crying my eyes out. T_____T
My eyes later will be like that of a panda. I hope I'll be hooked till the end. T____T
I'm so tired of this drama. The stupid plot which is all about So Rim and Han Gyul breaking up and getting…
I noticed when So Rim is about to cry she would blink a lot. To get the tears out maybe? Same with Yoona. I just finished watching Queen of Ring and Seulgi never fails to astound me. She's really a good actress. I'm sorry but I can't help but compare since I watch both at the same time, the difference is I binge watched QOR *winks*. This one, I don't think I'll be able to watch till the end
This seems so ridiculously written. No agency in their right mind would debut artists so soon, no matter how "unique"…
I get that, but they should have considered that the two (kdrama and manga) are totally different. I'm an avid reader of mangas, I have a soft heart for shoujo, I like the silliness of every girl main lead and the cool aura of the boys. But if applied to kdrama it becomes different. The biggest factor to be considered is the portrayal of the characters. And I think Joy is failing that. I just hope she gets better.
This seems so ridiculously written. No agency in their right mind would debut artists so soon, no matter how "unique" their talents are, or how genius the people are behind them. Yoo Sorim would do, but the other two I don't think so, considering Choi, who has an "eye" for talents implicated they're not good enough. Crude Play is doomed from the beginning. Bands should play, it's not just about visuals and vocals. The writer could have think of a better twist than that. It's a big joke.
Some women on this drama seems so irritating, Sorim, Yoona and that high school girl. The main lead exaggerates so much, she's overreacting, and i don't feel any sparks between her and the guy main lead.
I don't know why they keep saying the main leads have zero chemistry! I don't think so! I mean they're portraying characters that's why they act that way. Yoo Jung receives a lot of hate because he acts that way. I think it's cute he's trying to change it. I'm not actually done watching it, I've been delaying it because of bad reviews. But now that I started it I think differently. I love the main leads, Kang Joon is just sooo not him in this series (based on his attitude on Roommates, a reality show) he's so freaking adorable I keep falling. Same with PHJ ❤. Swag couple is here to. And if this is so bad just as others say, why will there be a movie adaptation? Can't wait for that one. No matter what the ending is, I'll keep loving this series. ❤❤
Short Summary:
Queen: "Fools, I am the King. I'm using my son as an excuse"
Yeong Shil: "You're deluding yourself, I'm the most powerful man in Silla!"
Ji Dwi: "Ah wait, I'm the King, I'm ready, I'm not, guess I have to wait more, there's still two episodes left."
Ah Ro: "I'll just keep being agitated and used till the drama ends"
Sun Woo: "I need to protect Ah Ro, wait I can be king? Should I be King and protect her?"
Don't hate me lol xD
I'm watching this because of the beautiful cast but the plot ain't doing it for me. There is very little development in each character. Like seriously it took 18 episodes before he steps up as King?
The only scene that made an impact is Han Sung's death, even Dog Bird's identity didn't leave much.
Actually I'm still a bit hurt because the most adorable character just died </3
So bland. I forced myself to finish episode one and right now I'm not convinced to watch for the next episode. And I didn't catch any OST just those boring sound effects. Hope this gets better, for now I'm dropping it.
I was kind of expecting a doomed ending since episode 1 because of the the sword, the bride, the king, the warrior, the queen, and many more. But after episode 14 I will be very very very disappointed if this ended badly, like come on! After so much pain they deserve all the love in the world. Gosh this drama really got me!
And that phrase "No sadness lasts forever" left me with all kinds of hope. ❤
My eyes later will be like that of a panda. I hope I'll be hooked till the end. T____T
