This is only the second drama I’ve watched with Tian Xi Wei as the lead, but I’ve already seen a lot of Zhang Ling He’s dramas, and I have to say, this might be my favorite so far 😍❤️ I’m only on episode 9, but I’m so invested I had to revive my MDL 😂
I didn’t expect to enjoy their countryside life this much! Sometimes I even forget that they(?) actually have such powerful identities and imposing backgrounds beyond their current personas. Honestly, they could just keep living their not-so-quiet little lives there and I’d still watch every episode till the end
And the chemistry?? The chemistry is chemistry-ing. Icing on the cake? They’re both so effin’ gorgeous! And I love me some strong FL, you go girliee!

I’d probably get roasted for this, but here’s my unpopular opinion: Situ Ling did more good than bad
Okay calm down 🤣 I mean, let’s be honest, he was really useful in the early episodes. Of course, his sacrifices couldn’t compare to JBZ’s, but he did his best to help in his own ways, which later became twisted ways, which then later evolved into obsessive ways 😂
But compared to other second MLs out there, many of whom were way more manipulative and plotted directly against the MLs, I’d say he’s less evil.
Whenever MQB tried to implicate JBZ and MY, he somehow found ways to help. Not to mention, he even eliminated the “big fishes,” his brothers and father, which, in a way, cleaned up a lot of mess.
And since it was already given that he’d become the ultimate villain later on (the typical fate of an obsessive second male lead), I honestly wasn’t surprised.
So generally, I think he was genuinely trying to help MY at first. I’m not saying his evil actions at the end are excusable, because obviously, he could have chosen better ways to deal with his pain and obsession. But I do believe his intentions, at least in the beginning, came from a place of sincerity, it’s just that his love and loyalty took a dark turn.
No wonder some names and places were familiar lol! I got spoiled so bad 🫠 and now, I don’t want to finish watching LIP anymore, knowing that DFHZ didn’t make it and WQHY is such an asshole to his son 😐
Feng Pengcheng is a Great Ruler, how could he have an idiotic daughter like you? Feng Suige is the Killer God of Susha, how could he have a useless sister like you? Boy didn’t hesitate and drove the final nail in the coffin. Hate to admit it but I respect him for this 🫡 Baby girl deserve no less than the savage truth 😂
And when we met again, he didn’t remember me at all, but that’s fine, because I love him even moreOkay

He’s so unapologetic, and I love him for it! Of all the drama princes out there, Feng Suige so far, is my favorite. He’s so straightforward. He knows his rights and doesn’t bend even before a king (let alone an elder or a woman). Him striking a high-level official was the icing on the cake. How I wish all ML princes him had his nerve lol!
I can’t count how many times I’ve been annoyed by obvious, snake officials and wished I could jump into the screen and slap them left and right, up and down 🤣
