after seeing several of the actors in this series in my stubborn, I believe that it's more the writing and direction. I get the sense that the actors are not very happy with what they are being told to do In the scenes... Like, "let us run with it man!"

me too, I love it. Yes, I note to myself the plot holes and the things they Shoulda woulda coulda said and done to flesh out the story... but all in all I guess my imagination is really good so I fill things in as needed. What's really funny ... sometimes I'll go back and rewatch an old Series, and I'll be like wait what happened to the blankety blank scene... And then I realize it was me making it up and inserting lol.
