forget young villains, any kind of super powered villain would be good to create some tension in the plot. this is why I didn't liked Frank's death even though his character was as typical as it gets. there was that NK military dude that was about to come but nothing on that since drama has decided to give up on that for backstories. there was also that crazy superior on China mission with FL. I kinda wanted him to have some superpowers as well.

there's only one other way to quantify popularity on MDL- number of hearts or flowers they have on their profile page. it can be used as a limiting factor. like anyone above 1k/500 isn't allowed or smth along those lines.

puzzle can come together if they run present plot along with this. story isn't that complex that needs fully dedicated multiple backstory eps all at once

its fine to have a rich backstory on characters but not at the cost of present plot. if you're going to run half the story in the past then atleast balance it out with similar or bigger stakes in present.

well yeah it may work for the webtoon but not for drama. which is why I pointed out the need of a proper screenwriter

need a proper fight between FL and Ah reum. one that goes 12 rounds and ends with either losing on panel's decision

this will be ending with FL becoming sparring partner for either Ah reum or that chick FL fought in comeback match

kids' backstories ate up a lot of runtime too. but atleast it had a hitman on loose to make present more dynamic. now there's no word on present where actual story is and just incessant flashbacks. there has to be a better way to make viewers care for characters than simply abandoning an already (somewhat) established scenario

acting a bit immature is probably better considering the lead dynamic. hoping there are a couple of serious moments going forward to balance it out
