So far I haven't been all that impressed by Korean remakes of western movies and dramas. Even those remakes that…
its a mixed bag tbh Designated survivor- remake did better with characters and could've been even more special if they wrote the intelligence part of drama properly Life on Mars- BBC one is good but the korean one is decent as well Undercover- korean remake is mid Doctor Foster- korean remake is way better
I was predicting Kim Taeri to win Best Actress and IU to win Daesang, since Daesang is more of a cultural impact…
you're complaining just for the sake of it now. Variety having freedom of content doesn't means it's not a tv show. Category is clearly stated as 'Television' and not 'Drama'. And please look up the meaning of 'tv show' and what it entails before arguing any further.

Actual tv shows?? Variety shows are tv shows just like dramas. they're aired on tv/ott and also follow a script albeit not strictly like drama productions. I don't get the complaint here. TV and Movies are two separate categories and each have their own subcategory of awards.
so Netflix is the big winner of the night. also idk what's the criteria of 'New Actor/Actress' coz Chae Won Bin had a main role in 'My lovely Boxer' before 'Doubt'

Tangerines drama is famous internationally but this is korean awards show. Culinary class wars is very very popular there. saw it being mentioned in different interviews and many times trending on yt/twt. couple of chefs who were on that show ended up getting casted in different varieties/yt videos
Romance drama genre is just oversaturated now. everything looks banal and formulaic. producers/writers are to blame as well for pushing forward with such lazy efforts. It has nothing to do with west. NF rarely puts out a kdrama original (the one that they themselves produce) with romance as the main genre.
Some duds are gonna be there but I agree that they can have better selection. Also I think they're just catering to audience here. romance kdramas are popular ones and draws in more viewers so they take a risk on them more often.
No. shitty writing in dramaland exists with or without NF. But since tv dramas have some restrictions that NF originals don't, they can/should put out much better content (writing wise) than they have done in the last couple of years.
incoming all the nonsensical comments about westernization or nudity when there're bigger issues like dipping writing quality in originals and undermining creators in profits of movie released on its platform.

'moving' was the winner and other ones were nominees
