It started slow but picked up the pace as the main couple were drawn to each other. The beginning scenes were cute and beautiful.
I fast forwarded after one of the ML was presumed dead or drown, I felt shocked as the other ML had already went through a previous trauma and another trauma of the same would have make him suffer too much and I didn't wanna watch that but gladly he was still alive and their story picked up.
I was heartbroken at how after almost dying he was ignored by the man he shared such a deep connection with. It also felt a little boring in the later episodes. I just FF to watch if they ended together and I was glad it was a happy ending. The scenery of the sea and the beach was gorgeous!
I really enjoyed the romcom with a mix of army and medical together and it was my first Kdrama of this genre. I enjoyed both sides too though it felt like in the main couple's romance and intimacy there was something missing or more like a sparkle perhaps between them.
I hated sometimes how FL treated ML but I still loved how their love story slowly unfolded. TBH I personally enjoyed the second couple more in the beginning but as the main couple progressed, they started stealing the spotlight. The support characters were also amazing including the mini scenarios added to the main story but I didn't like much how it ended, it felt abrupt and mostly the last episode was underwhelming. Anyway it's a 7/10 for me.
I really liked this Kdrama. Even though it started rough and I almost gave it up because of the irritating FL shouting all the time but I kept on going as I was already invested in the story and wanted to see what happens and if ML ever becomes a human.
I liked the second half more than the first half because it was so cute and heartfelt when they were together but I was quite disappointed with the ending as I was waiting for their happy ending after everything would go well but it felt quite rushed and we didn't get to see the main couple much when all the dilemma and issued were finally calm.
Loved it's OST though, mostly pray. I recommend this, it was a nice romcom with a mix of ballet life. The ending was also good even if not satisfactory. 8/10
I highly recommend this Kdrama if you enjoy watching romcoms and/or sci-fi technological dramas. primarily for those who prefer short Kdramas, as this one just consists of 12 episodes, eliminating any needless dragging.
Even though the romance and sci-fi were equal, and occasionally one more than the other, I still liked this Kdrama, even though I normally enjoy them better when they focus more on the romantic element. Although it ended beautifully, I did wish we could have seen more of the main couple.
It shares several characteristics with the Kdramas I'm not a robot and The secret life of my secretary. The ending in MHL was done the right way even if it felt wrong but it was as it should’ve been.
The ML is so attractive and charming. The OST were nice too, so were the sci-fi visuals. I gave it a 10/10 since I thoroughly enjoyed it!
This seemed to have great potential in the beginning and I liked that the cover image didn't spoil the protagonists so I was in the mystery of who would be the main couple or who would the ML end up with.
I loved how we were shown his journey of struggling for being gay and how society would reject him like some of his friends did. Loved his friendship with the female support character.
Though him not ending up with people he loved and those who wanted him, I felt like at some point it was too much that he was being betrayed by those he loved and didn't look out for those who did. I watched until episode 5 then gave up as it felt too slow and the pace wasn't going well. I just watched the ending and it still didn't feel like it would be worth to watch how he got there.
One amazing thing I took from the drama besides his journey was the amazing song Sexy Love that I am now addicted to.
Your Sky was not the best and not the worst neither. I loved the story since the beginning and I liked the slow burn and gradual approach of the couple getting close and finding more about each other and the intimacy was also cute and heartfelt. However after they get together it felt like something was missing and as if it should have ended there. I was just not feeling interested in the story anymore as it didn't feel as if there was something to wait for or for more to expect and anticipate. I just gave up on waiting for nothing and skipped it from episode 7 to see what happened and how it ended but then some viewers might like to see how things unfold.
I was looking for a similar one to Bad Buddy because I loved it so much and I was very disappointed with this one. It was recommended to me on so many occasions and I had high expectations perhaps but it just didn't get to me. I guess not all highly rated dramas is for everyone. I just hated it, I took so many breaks on the first episode itself because I was so sleepy with the story and none of the characters seemed to have a deep or meaningful story to tell so I just gave it up. I suggest if you do not want to watch something too slow and too boring please avoid this one. It is a 2/10 for me!
It did have many nice ingredients such as the enemies to lovers trope, an unexpected crush and the bonding of the different faculties. The protagonists has a sizzling chemistry and all of their scenes were amazing!
The first episode is very misleading and I almost gave up. If others also give up because of this it is such a shame because it does not reflect the content of the entire drama at all. I wonder why they focused so much on something for almost the entire episode when it could've been rather direct and short.
Overall this was a nice rivals to lovers BL and the love story was sweet.
I don't know where to start to describe how much perfect this drama was! 10/10!!
Bad Buddy set the bar so high for me that after watching it, I cannot feel satisfied enough after watching another BL. I've searched and searched but to no avail is there a match to this one!
There is friendship, a healthy and pure relationship, pure love, hardships, intimacy, sweet moments, fluff, emotions, emotional moments, phase of growing up and becoming mature, taking decisions together, trust, communication, being there for each other, sharing happiness and sadness both, commitment, parents-child bonding, school rivalry and friendship, bonding, accepting one selves and each other for who they are.
I have listed so many but there are definitely more than this. On top of that it doesn't have useless drama, no dragging scenes and amazing memorable OST; loved the music!
This drama is proof that a BL doesn't need NC scenes to be great. It has that one perfect kissing scene and it is the best of BL out there! I suggest you watch this if you are looking for a BL with all the above mentioned. I rewatched this so many times already! So many times I say I will watch that one scene but end up watching the whole drama! Will keep on rewatching for sure!
I really loved it and binge it within 2 days but the lack of intimacy between the leads were like an opposition to their character.
The drama was amazing, I loved the story, the slow burn and the discovery of liking one another. The music and OST in the show was superb and I didn't feel sleepy at all, it was very entertaining, not to forget also very funny at time while being interesting.
Only one criticism I have for this show is that it was lacking intimacy between the main leads a lot. I am not referring to having NC scenes or kissing scenes whatsoever but just the intimacy of being close to one another, wanting to be next to each other etc. was clearly missing from beginning to end. The actors did an amazing job, it was perhaps the plot itself.
Otherwise the show was nice and fun, it was enjoyable. Loved the music!
It was an okay BL drama. The leads did a good job, even the second leads but it felt like something was missing between the main leads.
The NC scenes were killing all the time! However it did not felt with those emotions where sometimes when you watch an NC scene you can say it looked deep because you could feel the emotions in it. It felt like it was there just to be there.
I understand the relationship between the main leads were more of a FWB as the title itself redirects to but I just wish they could have developed it and make us see more of the leads' relationship way before the end.
The production however was amazing and they chose two main leads which fit the role. It was just a bit lacking of chemistry, hope to see them in another work with a better story.
It was an amazing watch until episode 13. The last 3 episodes were so boring I had to fast forward to watch the end. Otherwise before that it was a nice lovestory and both leads did well. It was also somewhat funny.
I like the different story of the ML being the clean freak, even if sometimes it was too much but it was normal for his character but there are some scenes where I feel this too much was ignored but he portrayed an amazing role. I loved that unlike other ML in Kdramas, this ML was a bit plumpy and chubby, making him look natural.
The Fl was also amazing. I loved her character and the patience she had throughout the journey we viewed but I just wish she was not like that towards the end but I liked how she loved her family and their sweet moments together.
The second ML was also great. I was soo rooting for him and the FL to end together tbh. It felt they were a better fit but it's also nice the way it went down.
A nice calm watch, sometimes a bit boring but quite funny, just a too dragging ending. 7/10
Amazing! I was waiting for the whole season to come out to binge and I now understand the hype behind. It was simply awesome to watch. There is barely any scene I was bored with. I watched in one day, it got interesting as it went by instead of becoming draggy or nonsensical like many dramas. The protagonists and even supporting roles did an amazing job. The NC scenes - I was dumbfounded!
Will definitely not view honey in the same way now! iykyk
same here. same. I'm on episode 5 and want to drop. plz tell me it's still good after?
I'd rather not spend more time on something I hate but I guess we are all different lol. I heard "Where your eyes linger" is quite good, I will add it to my PTW. I am currently rewatching Bad Buddy, can't find any similar to this gem. Better use of my time :P
