Why is the ML Yoon Jae Guk asking his step mother to give him one month to love the FL Ha Young Eun?
I’m hoping Yoon Jae Sook doesn’t end up being a coward by breaking up with Ha Young Eun because of his step mother and his brother that died 19 years ago, which he’s the reason his brother meets HYE!
First of all cannot understand why his step mother hates HYE! Her son is the one in fault for cheating on his fiancée… he did not tell HYE that he had a fiancée and a younger brother in the two months they dated. I can some what understand the fiancée for not liking HYE… however it wasn’t HYE’s fault for dating her fiancée since she didn’t know he was in a relationship… plus HYE thought that she was dumped by him for 10 years and just found out that he died in a car accident, which was his fiancée’s fault.

IMO, Cui Xi helped BQ from the very beginning that included taken her son as her own so he would not be labeled a bastard. If you recall BQ was known as a brothel singer who her husband bought and kept her as his lover without letting his wife know that he wanted her as his concubine. In addition, BQ self sufficiency after her lover left her and his wife was seducing men, which included the man that love her and Cui Xi . He actually lived with BQ from the beginning and only went to work at the Ren family because BQ wanted to get her son back, which she clouded with the other man that was related to the sickly man etc. In other words, yes in my opinion, Cui Ci helped BQ gain experience and confidence to be self sufficient in the Ren family business of embroidery and paved the way for her to not be known as the brothel singer but wife and mother of Ren family.
Yes, in my opinion Cui Xi was completely selfless… not just with BQ who she knew suffered and deserved to be happy but she helped her ex by making the decision of getting the divorce after e offered her to have a child because he felt guilty for spending all his time away from her… not to mention she helped her ex-brother in law etc!

We’ll need to agree to disagree on this topic. But will add that even in the very end it was Cui Xi that pleaded with the imperial guard to let Bai Qin work on the embroidery with her … which she designed and allowing Bai Qin to take part of the winning side that gave her the prestige and fame for the Ren Family… if you don’t see that as Cui Xi selflessness and Bai Qin again gaining everything… husband, son, family, roof over her head, financial just to name the obvious… in comparison to what Cui Xi ended with… independence and loneliness while she passed on her talent to other females… the way I see it… Cui Xi deserve much more than what she ended up with!

Watch the last scene in the credits… you will see Jainming by Haishi’s favorite tree wearing the mask as in the very beginning and catching the feather this time 🕊🪶 … he did not die… he decided on his own to be the baby’s saver and master… while Haishi is alone in the palace as the empress and helping and raising the baby/cp. Very sad and disappointed for Haishi’s ending… she deserved much more love and happiness IMO 😢

Agree. I can't even get myself to imagine Jainming and Haishi being able to see each other at least during those 5+ years because there were no scenes that would imply and certainly no scenes of them ever being together after the crown prince becomes the emperor!
The very last scene of Jainming catching the feather by Haishi's favorite tree made me feel more sad than happy. I feel I have a closure for the ending of the Emperor, Tilan, ZY, and ZL ... but still processing the ending or better yet another beginning for Jainming and Haishi!

We were mostly right... Soulan was following his father's orders and Tang was fooled to believe that Tilan needed to be rescued from the Emperor by Solan!
I don't know how you feel about the ending... as for me, the Emperor and Tilan's outcome was expected... but I'm still trying to process Jainming decision and Haishi's reaction that I'm somewhat content of ZY and ZL's brief reunion scenes. However, I'm still shacking my head over the ending... not sure if it was SE, BE, or HE!?
P.S. I did get enjoyment on how Jainming killed Eunuch Shi and Solan -.-
100% agree with you. IMO, FL is better off with the brother. Do you know the ending? If so, please provide spoiler…

I think the mastermind is King of Zhunian who is Tilan and Soulan's father. He's the only one that would gain additional power to achieve the independence for Zhunian by dethroning Emperor Xu.
