I began to watch it but i don't really like it... Don't know why x) But may be i'll carry on watching it, thank…
It is understandable. You need to be on a certain mood to watch this for sure. I don't know how far along did you get. But I believe it was around episode 8-9 where it starts to pick up the pace (if it's any help). :)

Aw, my pleasure! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I have begun writing Part 2, so hopefully it will be out soon :).

wow this was so interesting to read! i know a lot of subtext can be interpreted through the writing and what is…
Thank you very much for reading! Korean dramas are extremely artistic, poetically so. So there's a lot to think about when watching the show, like their use of motifs, metaphores, clothing as well! I only caught these cues because they are so recurring among different dramas. That and the fact that it relies on some basic principles of design as well.

Hi. I have to applaud your effort and work for this. I did skim through some parts but it really offered other…
Thank you for the link to the analysis! I haven't watched the drama yet, but it's in my PTWL. If I watch it and feel like there's enough content to write a visual analysis (like I did with Come and Hug Me), I will surely give it a try!

Just need to finish watching the dramas I'm currently watching first! :)

I really liked this one. For a person whose job is predominantly to notice details and subtexts, I missed these…
Thank you, usna. I agree, this was much longer than intended but I couldn't find a good way to split it, since each part relied on the last one.

The subsequent parts (intrapersonal cues) should be more bite sized since i will be splitting it into several "bite size" parts. Especially because they need to be digestable. Too much information in one article can prove daunting to most readers. Especially if it's something they didn't know. ;)

This is an amazing analysis now I have to pay more attention to these visual cues when watching my K-dramas from…
Thank you for reading and I am glad you enjoyed it, even if now you will have one more thing to keep you occupied while watching K-dramas! Like I've mentioned before, now that you know what too look for, you'll start to pick up on these cues automatically!

I just skimmed, afraid there might be spoilers as I have not finished it yet, but with the part with Hyeon Moo,…
Thank you very much for reading, @ilanputo! Yes, sadly some of the graphics might give away things, so it was a good idea to skim through it. And I think you can tell I was very passionate about that last character analysis between Hyeon Moo and Nah Moo. I think Hyeon Moo is simply one of those memorable characters that stay with you. At least, it did with me!

Thank you very much for the comment, Samantha! I am happy to read you enjoyed it and that the examples were clear. :) I am working on part two and there will probably be part 3 and 4 later on as well!

Thank you very much, I'm glad the article was easy to understand. One of my fears was that, in my attempt to simplify things, I might confuse some readers. So I'm happy to hear that wasn't the case! :)

oh gosh, I freakin' love this article. This is my first time to read a whole article :)
Thank you, I am happy tha you enjoyed it enough to read the whole thing despite the length <3! I'll try to keep the next one shorter by splitting it into an additional part if it gets too long. :)

A good selection of dramas, even if I personally couldn't get into WWWSK and ended up dropping it. Splash Splash Love I enjoyed the first episode, then got a bit bored with it during the second episode. With I am not a Robot the same thing happened. It started really good, but as it focused on the drama part of their relationship, I struggled to finish it and ended up pacing it out while watching something darker to balance out the fluff. Of course, the problem isn't the stories, but my taste. Stories with a heavy focus on love aren't my cup of tea.

Having said that, feel-good dramas that I'd recommend would be:
1. Fight for my way | It has a good mixture of love, friendship, and comedy; coupled with a message of "it's never too late to follow your dreams".
2. Age of Youth | a show that starts questionable but grows on you as you keep watching.
3. Devilish Joy | a show riddled with cliches, but which is still very enjoyable despite it's few dramatic moments.
4. Feel Good to Die | another show with a lot of heart. It starts a bit slow but picks up its pace and overall leaves you with a satisfying experience.
5. Thirty but Seventeen | this one is as light as it can be. Despite the premise, it's a show which focuses on healing, love, friendship and finding yourself.

Well, Part 2 will continue with other cues. If it becomes too long, I might split that in two.

I could then do another one but talking more about certain types of shots or angles and what they mean. I will start to gather some examples of that. :)

Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it! Part 2 is in the works, but I am still gathering more examples. Depending on how lengthy it becomes, I might split it into two articles. But we will see :).

This is my first time reading a whole article.I love it
Thank you very much for reading it despite the length! I had to reign myself back and not include more examples just to keep it at a manageable length. Yet with so many variations, it still ended up quite lengthy.
