Gosh I'm tired of the rich mother hating their rich son's poor girlfriend story and threatening her.
It makes sense in this drama, mother knows that ChangSoo loves his money and status more than JiYi that he would not let go of them for her, JiYi even if she marries ChangSoo brings nothing to the family like money power or ability which he needs to take control of his family business. Mother's methods are not nice but she understands the situation and is doing what she thinks is best for her son in the long term.

This is like the generic korean daily drama, main female is is ultra noble idiot who lets everyone walk over her, main male lead is her knight in shining armor, the bad/greedy/evil/stupid/all negative other characters just get to do whatever they want for the whole drama till maybe the last 2-3 episodes when suddenly all is well and they turn positive and are forgiven.
This is the 2nd makjang chinese drama i've seen following the bad parts of korean dramas, first was the wife's secret.
Is this worth watching? That is a lot of episodes.
It was good but as with most taiwanese dramas its going down somewhere around the middle with the typical dragging cliches like amnesia, suddenly inserted evil second girl who being always successful in her plans, possible noble idiot behavior incoming etc.

Shone's behavior made Nam suffer 3 years in school and then leaving the book made her stay alone for 9 years which could have been even more.
