Aw no they started the typical daily drama cliches around ep 40, it was so good till now.

Actually ChangSoo can't do much, he has put himself in a position where he has to choose between his mom/family or JiYi, or his mom will be forced to choose between him and her family. He has no real friends, no support from his family or peers and most importantly so far its shown that he is poor and uninterested/indifferent at his job making it seem like he wont survive if he is by himself. All he has done so far is use his money and position to attract people like JoonKi and force himself into getting time with JiYi who has chaebol fetish.

There are only 2 ways in which JiYi can be happy, she becomes a couple with YoonHa who ditches JoonKi and they leave Korea for the weird ending or JoonKi comes around and fixes everything in the unrealistic typical drama style which is most likely the way the drama will go.

This whole drama feels like it relies on Yan Song keeping everything secret, being dumb and playing the noble idiot

Qi You and Lian Cheng were like the most miserable characters I have seen in any drama, QiYou dies at the end suffering for the entire length of the drama while Lian Cheng somewhere in the middle while also suffering from disease. Lian Cheng and Qi You both die similarly trying to save FuYa from getting hit by an arrow


Xiang Yun kills herself after LianCheng dies for FuYa


FuYa survives and probably lives alone for the rest of her life remembering QiYou and their dead unborn child

A lot more important characters die and the brothers of our main male leads become kings of their respective regions

The one who betrays the main lead when she finds out he is half fox in Gu Family Book. I'm expecting the same situation in this one too.

It will be funny if they point out the "Cereal" mistake in Producers as an example

Separate and meet dramas, most dramas like these are serious but always have Romance as key aspect.

What key theme/aspects you are looking for? like contract marriage, bickering couple, etc

I'm guessing, revenge (where he uses main girl) turns into romance followed by some mystery regarding the revenge part and finally forgiveness/redemption.

Main girl is the daughter of his enemy whom he wants to punish. Main girl already has a childhood sweetheart.

So far its good, the pacing feels like it will end in 30-40 episodes unless they add in more plot devices or go into married life and the situations there. Its around 45mins per episode with 20-30 seconds of same repeat videos every 10 mins like in every T drama.

Its just weird that they did not have any insurance

Generally the one who the male leads treats nicely ends up being friend/sister zoned, the ones who fight in the beginning are coupled.

Extension generally means one or more of amnesia, noble idiocy, misunderstandings, accidents, blackmails are on the way, which finally will have no bearing on the story. I hope they prove it wrong by putting a really exiting divorce case instead of these plot devices.
